Do you know why Pirates used to wear eye patches ??

When they go below the deck ... (as it is dark there) .... they move the eye patch up .... and can see much better in such reduced light conditions.
As the previously covered eye is much more sensitive.

There should be a thrhead dedicated to this trick! I can't be floodin out my house trying to pull this shit off. I'd be willing to try it outside, but I ain't goin out there now, it's to fuckin cold. If nobody makes good on tryin this, I promise I'll bring the flip cam outside and give it a proper go. It seems to defy physics.
