Oh fo damn sure. I never have people over hardly. I get along great with EVERYONE which includes my neighbors, we always pay our rent ahead of time, due to paycheck timing, not cuz we are responsible or anything like that hehe. We are quiet and keep to ourselves when possible, nothing should stick out as abnormal. But these apartments do 2 inspections a year roughly, thats what the old guy downstairs says, he's lived here like 6 years. We've been here about a year and they have done one inspection, notice given for entry in 2 days between such and such time. And one maintenance entry for dryer vents, also a notice was given. I am in good shape with the apartments and always try and stay under the radar, but they still do those inspections and i wish they wouldnt lol

Yeah PMI (preventative maintenance inspection) are normal, and honestly maintenance try to wip through those as quickly as possible so i would say your good

Ya that was awhile ago. I just don't want an inspection to end in "Come here for a sec, Whats this?" then try and explain that I'm a MMJ Patient and am basically crippled then get slapped with "Yer out Mr Pot head!" Try getting an apartment after that lol.

if i live in a condo townhouse and the owners want to tent the house for termites, how would i go about delaying this? is there some excuse i could use to delay it? BTW, the condos are in groups of four. im not in an individual building

That could be really tricky...Technically the have the right to treat the house as they own it. I would do somthing to the exstint of "i am very sick and stuck on my couch, could you please hold off for a couple weeks?" Landlords will ussally try and honor requests of tenants just to avoid conflict.

hey wassup jus gave u some rep. we always need some help from the other side. nice to have a inside source to ask questions too. so do u have any expericnce with leasing commercial property?? And also what would you think about building a large frame for a room to fit inside a houses garage would that be better than just growing in the garage or would the landlord not like the wood framing put up and all that?

Things to remember!

1) they own it!!! at the end of the day no matter how much rent you pay THEY own it, therefore the rights to the property belong to the landlords!
2) DO NO piss off your neighbors, they can protect you or rat you out....your choice, i cant tell you how many times kids got evicted and jacked up their credit all because of some drawn out feud with some tenants that have been there longer.
3) Treat your maintenance and office people good! even though there is a manager these people control what the manager hears about and sees
4) Anything can qualify as an emergency, so don't think you'll get good notice before they come in.
5) Pay YOUR RENT ON TIME!! you don't want the manager coming around looking for it.
6)NO PARTIES!! i cannot stress this enough, some kid got busted with a QP because his friends got drunk, got loud, cops came, and they tossed the apartment.

DON"T rent an apartment...lol
