I agree with Brick Top. Greenhouse is the Chrysler of the seed world. With one exception. Greenhouse is better at marketing than Chrysler is. LOL!! Seriously!!! I happened to be in Amsterdam during the cannabis cup one year. I was not a "judge" but I did do my fair share of judging The place with the best strains IMHO was Barney's breakfast bar/farm. I smoked a pretty heavy duty sativa there called Laughing Buddah and had one hell of a train ride to Rotterdam that evening ripped out of my mind! But when you go to the greenhouse, he hands out colorful and tastefully packaged samples of his buds. To Arjan, the cup is a really big deal.....and I guess it should be given that it's pretty hard to argue his success. I will gladly give him credit where credit is due, he knows how to market seeds, and colorizing them is a great idea (although I wonder if it messes with the buds at all) But the genetics don't compare to Barneys, Serious, Sensi, DJ Short, TGA/Subcool, or THSeeds....again in my opinion.
Taking it one step further, I bit on the marketing and the fact that it won the cup and ordered some Super Lemon Haze from Attitude. I must say it was the most disappointing grow I have done in my entire life. It didn't go hermie on me. But yielded 1/2 of what I usually do in the same space and compared to some of the strains found in clone form in Norcal like Trainwreck, OG Kush (Larry's variety is my favorite), Sour D, was inferior in the buzz it delivered. I will say it did taste good. But wouldn't grow it again and wouldn't advise anyone else to. Hope this helps, not tryin' to be a hater.
