i started having failure rates increase with germ,came to find out the water PH i was getting from the city has risen to 7.9 , its was much lower when we moved here

Ive had a few GH seeds go hermie and some not germinate. Of course not all there seeds are shite as ive seen some great results from growers using there seeds but when a company like GHS has such bad reviews from growers then theres got to be something in it were not talking one or two growers here there are hundreds of people slagging off GHS on different forums all saying the same thing, poor germination rates and hermies galore. I aviod them now theres stacks of breeders to choose strains from who dont have a bad rep unlike GHS.
Do you honestly think i would have gone out and bought bad seeds?...who orders bad seeds 3 times? ^ that guy
PH rise is never good! I always germ my seeds in paper towels with ph 6 water
At last somebody who has actually researched GHS and came back with the same info. They have wasted 3 weeks now for me my babies would have been almost ready for flowering! not to worry i have now boycotted them and got myself some BigBud from Sensi so i am on for a winner!!

I just avoid GHS, jimmygreenfingers is right, there are too many other good breeders out there to choose from.
I am in agreement, I was tempted by GHS "The chuch" yields. It would have been a good grow especially after 8 weeks veg
But now they can go fuck themselves, i did a bit more research last night and there germination rates are pretty piss poor. that is from a lot of poeple on various ganja forums.

I dont know but i have good success with them..I will get their trainwreck,super silver haze this would be my first growing these.Ill also get another pack of super lemon haze again.

The first big question is How did you get the seeds? From Attitude or strait from Green House? Were they in the breeders pack?
I just ordered The Church femand AMS fem from GHS over the weekend...
I have been seeing threads with high end seed companies having issues, germ,hermie ect. ect.
While it is odd that you have had 3 bum batches, it just could be some really bad luck!

I've had good luck with GHS. I've run their White Widow, Church, and currently am loving their Super Lemon Haze, and just got a cutting of their Super Silver Haze (I know, it's not the same). I've always had pretty good luck with their gear.

What about all of the people who use them, continue to use them, have good luck with them, and so on... ? Yeah, they must all be wrong because you "researched" it.
I buy from the same company i have for years and they come in original sealed packaging. I have not had an issue with any other seeds from this store (and it is not attitude!!) and they have had numerous complaints about the recent batches of the church and lemon skunk by GHS
I am happy for you. It saves the messing i have had to go through!!
Another tool on the forums. I never said anybody was growing anything wrong? If you have nothing decent to contribute to this then get lost...
I have heard many good things about the pheno's from ghs that is what drew me into buying there seeds in the first place!!
The bad thing is my experience put me off these guys.
Also for all of the people who come to this thread to hurl meaningless abuse... I bet you feel better now
If you can not handle the fact that i have pointed out a few flaws with the product i received then get fucked. Its just typical of the internet. The people who come and tell me they have had good grows from the seeds by GHS are more than welcome to continue as this is an unbiased topic and if you look at all of the similar threads to mine you will find there is a 40/60 devide between lovers and haters of GHS. I am amongst the unlucky guys as mentioned above who have had seeds not germinate. I spoke to my supplier and they have had various complaints about the church and lemon skunk by GHS and i was issued a full refund. So no biggy
Again to the trolls who come onto the forums looking to let of some steam... Go somewhere else.

Ahh, yes, I am a tool because I get irritated when people get on here and bash a breeder and tell everyone to STAY AWAY(!!!) because they had bad luck. Did you research all of the people who rave about GHS? and it says it all when the UK distributor refunded me the cash after floods of complaints about various batches of these seeds...

Actually, I agree with this, but have you considered that maybe the problem lies with the seedbank? They could be storing them improperly, too hot, etc... There are many possible reasons that yours didn't germ, and it's not fair to just shout SCREW GHS!

I had a oil leak on my Honda once, dosent mean that all Hondas suck, just meant I was a shitty mechanic.
I understand that but through frustration of wasting valuable time i have started this thread. These will continue to pop up now and again unless they can sort this out. I understand it isnt too common to get 100% germ rates. 50/50 in this case would have been ample.

But for now i shall continue onwards with my own personal favorite seedbanks and return to greenhouse in the future.
I do not wish to come across as arrogant i was just rather pee'd off with my wasted time.
