I've found that mine usually almost triple in size when i switch to flower. You're gonna want at least 2x the space as your plant height when you switch. don't forget to take your lights into consideration as well. if your lights hang down 6" from the top of the box you still need clearance for them to be above the canopy at a desirable level.Yes sit they are! Much better now that the other 2 are not taking up a lot of space. When I switch to 12/12 how much bigger on average should I expect the ladies to get.. I'm trying to figure out how tall I should build my flower box.
Hey guys sorry been busy as hell this weekend.. had to work sat..and sun.. 14 hours each day.. was crazy lol.. Anyway TJP thats about what i expected in the switching to flower.. I'm going to build my flower box to about 7 feet tall.. That way i'll have more than enough room for the ladies =)I've found that mine usually almost triple in size when i switch to flower. Yes it is! Feels good to be able to do something new too =)Cool deal with the clones - it's nice to be able to hold on to genetics or not have to mess with seedlings.
Thanks Tao! This is by far the healthiest plants i've ever grown! I'm super excited about it!Excellent - man they look healthy and happy!
How are you handling their nutrients? Going light or heavy on strength? Thanks Tao! This is by far the healthiest plants i've ever grown! I'm super excited about it!
Honestly I have not gave them any nutes in about 3 weeks.. since I thought I burned them.. just been watering with ph'd water. I'm gonna give them some nutes this next time I water and prolly only quarter or half strength. What do you think I should do..1/4 or 1/2 strength..How are you handling their nutrients? Going light or heavy on strength?
Yea I know the soil that i use has a lot of nutes in it, so i'm sure thats why i haven't had the need to feed them anything.. But we'll see how it goes in the next couple days lol. man i really don't feel like working today.. Just one of them days! BlahThey don't look like they are hurting for anything to me and have a pretty dark color... I'd probably do a 1/4 strength if any at all.
Hey whats up Slo! Thanks for taking the time to check out the grow! But no you're right i'm using floros for veg hps for flower.. but when i get the MH light i'll get one that i can air cool with a nice fan! I got this T5 setup that puts out 10,000 lumens with 2 bulbs lol the ladies love the light, but seeing how close your nodes are from the MH is hella nice man!Dang dude, now i don't feel so bad with all the issues I've had in my grow LOL!! Just messin. They all are looking hella good man, wanting to see how those clones do too, think i'm going to do rapid rooter cubes and a dome. But ya, wanted to say if you add a HID plan for heat issues specially with a ballast. I know you are using floro's so expect the heat to rise tremendously, i still havent locked down my temp issues, but my plants seem to love it hehe. Anyways, sub'd from now on and I'll keep lookin in from time to time! Peace bro!
EDIT: Nvm ... Iono why i thought you was using Floros, think you said you use CFL's in my journal, but the title is 600w HPS so yer temps are already Dialed in hehe. Forget what i said! lol
Hell ya, I just make sure the lights were as close as i could get them safely. Seems to have worked out just fine. The 1000w is 2 and a half feet at the moment so ya, good times! Hope you get one tho man, should see a huge differenceHey whats up Slo! Thanks for taking the time to check out the grow! You know what as crazy as this sounds.. I still haven't water'd them since i've transplanted them into these bags.. I have a moister meter that I use everyday to check the soil, plus the finger test and I might finally have to water them tomorrow or friday for sure.. Not sure If i may have over watered when I did my transplant.. I really don't think i did.. I feel like I barley watered them when i did.. And i was having what I thought to be nute burn earlier and did start to flush with just straight ph'd water.. and haven't given them any nutes since. When I transplanted I used the fox farm Ocean Forest mix which i've heard is really high in nutes so I figured i didn't need to feed them at all.. But I still havent watered since they were put into those bags.. Does that seem odd at all? I was actually getting worried about this, but none of my plants are showing any signs that the need water.. No drooping leaves nothing.Buddy J, I was wondering how often and how do you water and feed your plants? Have you ever flushed any of these plants yet? Thanks
Peace
