You and I agree on a lot of things, bro, but not on this. While I ABSOLUTELY agree that prices above $250/oz are excessive, that in no way gives me the right to claim that a caregiver is wrong or being unreasonable if he/she requests full retail price, the price dispensaries get, for the product of his/her grow.
What you're talking about is forced wholesale. That would be like saying that agricultural producers have no reasonable right to expect retail price for whatever product they have left that is in excess of government subsidy quotas and distributor purchases. Sure, most rural curb markets have better prices than supermarkets, but that's competition, not forced wholesale.
I don't even have a grow yet, but once I'm legal and producing, I'll likely be similar to you in my pricing scheme but it doesn't give either of us the right to tell someone else that THEIR retail price HAS to be lower than what the dispensaries make a fortune with. To me, that concept is as absurd as the prices that we're all complaining about.
