what ph does indica dominant strain grow best

hey guy i just got my ph pen and it reads 7.4 ph from the tap. ive been using the tap for awhile and all my plants look shitty like leaves yellowing and dying in the fourth week of flower.so i wanted to find out what ph is best for indica dominant strains and sativa.help pls

1. Stop using tap water.
2. Go to the store and buy distilled water.
3. Never worry about pH again.

Indica dominant strains want the same pH as sativa dominant strains.

2) If you're using soil, buy a bag of horticultural lime.

tyvm for the reply.that sounds good but i use up to 10 gallons a week.honestly i just want to use the tap much cheaper.but what ph should the water be.

yea man i just bought the ph pen and it read 7.4 after i calibrated it im planning on just buying earth juice ph down.but what ph would you reccomend for the water.

a slightly acidic ph, round 6, is a good range. bubble your water for a day or two to get the chlorine out.

It all depends if your growing in soil or hydro. For soil you want to shoot for a pH of 6.5 and for hydro you want to shoot for a pH of 5.8. Now, after adding in your nutes that will bring down your tap of 7.4 down quite considerably. So you want to adjust your pH after all nutes and additives (if any) have been added. If you do it before hand your just wasting your time unless you just want to give em plain water.

im doing a micro perpetual grow i use party cups and just flood and drain them i learned from misterbombdigity so its somewhat hydro i use a 2 liter bottle for resivoir but yea so maybe 6.0 might be perfect
