Hi, yes I'm a newbie, I have seen someone has grown with one 14watt cfl.. The plant looked okay, I have ordered a fem seed (autoflowering) and I wondered If you guys think it would work. I'm growing just one plant with very tight budget advice? Also any advice for hiding from parents

1 14 watt cfl is not going to cut it.

if your going to grow 1 plant with 1 light get a 26w 6500k for veg and a 26w 2700k for flower and understand that you aint going to get the best out of the plant but sure you will get some smokable bud. as for hiding it from parents i really dont know. you know your parents best where wouldnt they look??? stick it in the bottom of your wardrobe or somewhere like that. all the best peace....

Thanks, just cleared the inside of old pc out, fitted with foil so will hide in there, could I just use 2 14watt cfl's instead if 1 26watt?

Yes you can..But why slack when it comes to ur Pot? I recently purchased two 26w 6500 k CFLS and man my babies look greener and healthier just after three days (18 Hours on 6 off). At first I had one and it wasnt cutting it..

Bad idea growing where everyone in the household doesnt know about your shit, your askin to get busted n if you got shitty enough parents they will call the cops....mine did

Its not just that it's one plant, its the hiding sneaky factor. Either talk to the parents or wait till you move out. And this is from a 420 parent.
