That sucks about your mold coming back!! i hope the greencure works as well as it did the first time! i understand your reluctance to spraying the buds.... gotta do what ya gotta do! good luck with all of that and i got my fingers crossed for ya!
thanks guys for the support!! i'm still hopeful they'll come through...hoping and Praying those beautiful ladies pull threw this damn PM !!!!!!
crap, that sounds awful man. at what point in flower did the mold show up? did you try any treatment or you just cut off the affected buds? any lessons learned?Ugh. I lost about half a O last season to mold.. During flower and after curing I got some. It was a popcorn bud plant that got a nasty nute burn but still didn't make me feel any better. Good luck man!
I wasn't watching them close enough during flower in the early am's late summer after some rain and they were holding moisture. Also had a few budworms do their job on the plant. Then I had less than optimum storage for that plant during cure and a bunch of old crappy Masons jars.thanks guys for the support!! i'm still hopeful they'll come through...

i'm gonna do everything i can to save these girls, other than the PM they are looking so green and healthy...
Nothing much, a single night train, and some sort of short indica.great bro, glad to have you on board! (can't +rep you again yet, but soon...)
thanks lab, much appreciated. hope you do share! what are you growing? +rep for stopping in!
thanks dude, i did and it did! that's exactly what happened last night, and i'm confirming it to you now.His some sativa! That should perk ya up!
very nice lab!! really great looking buds and excellent pics. they look like they're at different stages... how many weeks you think you have left on each?Nothing much, a single night train, and some sort of short indica.
thanks millyy, much appreciated bro. i'm keeping a vigilent eye...I hope the greencure stuff works as it did before, that stinks that it's comingback...ohh all the things us growers can run into haha.
Other than that, nothing more to say besides AMAZING
meta, thanks a lot brother. this is exactly the advise and encouragment i needed to hear. i think you're right about spraying the buds now rather than later (as painful as it is), and it's good to be reminded that this whole thing is an amazing learning experience, no matter how it ends. but DAMN i wants me some sweet ass amnesia haze in my face. but in all seriousness bro, thanks for the advice, really means a lot man.Better to spray the buds more heavily now than later into flower IMO. You said 40 more days to go, thats a long time...it would be better to spray them now and nix this PM while your plant still has some time to continue developing, as opposed to frantically trying to get rid of the PM on your buds when your a week from chopping...The girls look healthy, i'm sorry you have PM, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get any cause I'm still a little traumatized from Shirley's situation...You're good dawg, you take care of your grow and this is just another hurdle before harvest. Plants come and go, but the growing is constant, so this is just more experience under the belt...And I'm confident that you're gonna win the battle with the PM...Keep your chin up, bro! I'm toking this one for you!!!
Well, I didn't take any pics of Shirley or really Laverne for that matter after their "accident"...so I don't have a visual progressive record of the PM, but I can tell you this, it started on the fan leaves, and then crept up to the sugar leaves, and finally on to the flowers...it wasn't pretty. And now you're saying your PM is climbing closer to the buds too...it's like some sorta stoner horror flick! No, to be honest, I was so close to harvest on Shirley that I just stopped watering for a week and a half, chopped her down, and when I was trimming I cut off all the PM i could see, dried her, and smoked her. I didn't get sick, I could definately taste the PM a little, but she was such a potent smelling and tasting plant that her flavor really dominated the PM...It never really hit my actual flowers too much, more the tiny sugar leaves, and when the bud was dry it was easier to spot the areas I missed during the trim. I took it with a grain of salt, smoked the bitch, and moved on. Laverne never got PM, and she was within 2 inches of Shirley, so I dunno...All I know is I didn't treat the problem other than to take off the affected leaves when I saw them, which I DON'T recommend...lol...but I'm a maniac. That slowed the problem, but it didn't solve it and Shirley was bald towards the end. I dunno, I say trust the greencure, you gotta keep up wit that shit apparently, but if their product doesn't work we'll firebomb their headquarters, right? (j/k Greencure, please don't sue me!)...Stay strong bro, always keep the next grow coming and soon we'll be masters of the indoor CFL grow-op!meta, thanks a lot brother. this is exactly the advise and encouragment i needed to hear. i think you're right about spraying the buds now rather than later (as painful as it is), and it's good to be reminded that this whole thing is an amazing learning experience, no matter how it ends. but DAMN i wants me some sweet ass amnesia haze in my face. but in all seriousness bro, thanks for the advice, really means a lot man.
i'm curious about how shirley's pm issue started and progressed (and ended), if it's not too much of debbie downer topic for you? do you have any pictures of it? i was thinking of doing a little experiment with my girls. select one or two buds and take photos of them each day from the same exact angle and same lighting and try to observe how the p.m. progresses (if at all). not sure if that will help me treat it, but the more i know the better . anyway, gonna check your visual updates now... thanks again bro.
thanks hippysmoke, one of the up shots of having high temps is the low RH which together help control the PM. i realized this morning that the label on greencure says i can use twice as much concentration as i've been using, so i gave another light spray on selected regions this morning, and honestly things look pretty damn good. i have some very nice pics in the sunlight i'll post very soon...just popped in to say great RH level dude! sucks about the mold/mildew issues though but least ya know how to prevent them in the future. (crosses fingers)
my theory is that it either came with the clones (since some other people who've picked up from the same dispensary had similar problems) or that one of my ventilation setups was pushing dirty air from the carpet into the box, plus high RH i guess. as for preventing, what hippysmoke said (below)! and greencure is supposed to also be great for prevention.how did you get the pm? I guessed i missed that part.how does 1 prevent it? Just r/h? What about when only 1 or some have it?
yes sirRh helps them develop, they came from spores and the rh was high enough for long enough for the spore to grab hold and incubate basically
arch, no worries bro, i'm glad you're able to stop in once in a while and keep in touch! i honestly am on this RIU thingy way too much, i gotta force myself not to log in sometimes . and my good attitude is in large part thanks to this community, not to say that i'm always looking up, some of this PM thing has gotten me pretty stressed out, but today at least i'm in a good mood, and i haven't even hit the vape yet! that's a good sign... speaking of which, gotta grind some amnesia and get this party startedhomer you are fighting the good fight. Sorry for not checking in as much..its spring and I have a ton of things to do around the house etc..friggin "honey do" lists" Anyway I have been beat and not on my comp much. Keep up the good work bro and it will pay off. Wish I had some of advice but I really dont have anything to base it on. As I get further into my grow journey, I am sure that I will run into troubles here and there. I hope I can keep the same great attitude that you are!
