Op,
I'm not sure how much you have grown but I veg under 400's and flower under 600's.
I LST and am able to get a plant to produce 4 oz's each with the plant never growing over 18 inchs from soil to tops.
My veg tent is a 4x4x6 laying on it's side due to heigth issues, so it's only 4 ft high.
Here is a pic of a Lemon G. LSTed from day one, and you can see on the tape how tall the plant is from floor to the top.
Still less then 36 inchs in a 5 gallon pot. Producing 4 oz's dry weight per plant.
If you have time to work the plant it doesn't matter how much light you use.

Damn!! thats smoking, how big of a fan would you need to remove that heat?
Instead of growing it height ways I was thinking of doing it diagonally (since I have more space to do it that way)
Is this possible? I should be able to guide it like this if I tie it down a bit..? *and help with the weight.

Igot a 400 for an area of 2.5ft X 3.5ft X 8ft, but I also bought a 170cfm inline blower so, your gonna need that for sure. I didn't really need the 600 but I wish I had got it. Just to let you know, @18hrs a day my light bill went up $50 with the 400 watt. So there are pros and cons you have to weigh. If moneys not a huge issue and you can handle the heat issues (air conditioners, fans and blowers) then I'd say go with the 600 watt for sure.

If I figure out a way to do it, I would get the 400watt, and then if I wanted to expand and get a little bit more cash i'd get the 600watt or 400watt for another stealth grow..
How far way does the light have to be from the plants? and how close can it get? (for a 400watt)

I have my 600w in a cool hood i can put it as close to the plants as i like, I can even touch the glass with my hand and leave it there for like 10 mins. I keep it about 6-8 inches from the topsI'm curious, how big does weed get under a 600w?
How far would the bulb be from the plant?
I thinking maybe a vertical grow? Space is very hard to come by and I need it stealthy..

I have a 6inch temp controlled fan, I have this set up in a budbox 100x100x180 and temps are at 25c

Okay, how much hotter does that make the room its in? (do you vent out the bud box into a bigger room or just send it straight outside?)
How loud is that fan and how much CFM does it produce? (product link maybe?)

I'm not exactly sure what your talking about with the box thing, but even if you grow it sideways as you say, it's still gonna move toward the light eventually. They always do.if you really only have two ft vertical,
Your gonna have to flower from seed (12/12 hours) and scrog it. Its gonna be difficult but it's possible.
