How do my plants look? Nirvana AK-48

These are Nirvana AK-48 and they cracked on 03/02/11 (12 days old today!). There was some curling of the leaves and I thought it might be heat, so I moved the lights up some to bring down the temp. There is no discoloration on any leaves except one leaf which I circled in red. I am using 4 68 watt CFL's (Home Depot special 2700 k) and 1 Feliz 125 watt CFL (6500 k) in three Gallon pots. The soil is Sta-Green Moisture control with fertilizer feeding the plants for 9 months (don't ask why I am using this because it's a long story). Sorry for the blurry pictures, my camera sucks. So, what do you guys think of my 12 day old plants? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I have moved the lights up a bit (had them about 3 inches away) and none of the new growth has curled. I do appreciate everyones help. Quick question, some people grow 12/12 from seed and I was wondering if I could go ahead and switch these to 12/12? Before you ask, yes, I can be an impatient person, lol.

As soon as you have a good root system you can start flowering, which usually takes 2-3 weeks. I usually wait 4 or more weeks, which gives you time to top it if you want and the plant has more time to mature.

you best get an hps to do 12-12 so early, i do 12-12 from seed all the time and cfls arent as to hot at it...........just started using coco this grow, give it a try its coool.

I might, it's just the idea of not having to worry about ferts is very appealing.

they are looking good.the lights were definatly too close tho.

and if the lights weren't close check rh and temp. if you want some great info on soil i follow a dude on here named "Riddleme". especially his make it rain method. but it does require nutes. worth checking out the guy is straight up. there are a few others who have their shit together on here also.

coco is so easy, feed and water every 2 days and as long as you ph they are really green and healthy straight through, i changed from compost peat mix, so so happy i did, got to be easy for me to be able do it:leaf:
