I have an idea for mold and/or pest control.

I was watching a news bit about the dangers of ultrasonic humidifiers.
when these humidifiers are run they release the atomized water, but also make airborne anything dissolved in the water. In Denver, the hard water was fucking up the breathing for some babies. They warned parents to use only distilled water in their humidfiers. They added that you could see the dust residue build up after running one with hard water.

Seems to me we could put something in our humidifiers to control mold or mites.
Things that come to mind: azamax, neem oil, milk, dissolved baking soda, SWEET (sulfur), PH up.

What do you think? could this be a workable method for applying mold preventers?

Hmm... I don't think milk is a good idea.

I'm not sure if the PH or baking soda would do the trick for airborne mold.

Seems to me like slufur or azamax would do the trick for anything airborne, cant say it would be healthy though!

It sounds plausible though. Then again you might as well just stick that stuff in a spray bottle and mist the fuck out of the room. Same effect.

I was thinking it could mimic the effects of a sulfur burner, and leave an ultra thin layer of anti-fungi on every nook and cranny.
Have you heard of people spraying diluted milk for powder mold? never tried it myself.

Dude. Think about that. Fighting mold with a humidifier...

Yep, I'm sold.
I know, I thought about that. It would be for one time use, not around the clock humidifying. No different than spraying your product on the leaves diluted in water.
The particulates in the water settle out on all surfaces, like a sulfur burner. Maybe a water soluble sulfur would work.
Every grower has easy access to a walmart humidifier, where sulfur burners are not so common.

But as you said, you'd be coating all surfaces with whatever, including water. Buds and all.
