Ok, I'm going to try again, Would like to hear from the supporters,,,WHY are the police and firefighter's STILL allowed to collective bargin' and no one else? Is it to put out the flames and jail anyone that disagree's with his "Dictatorship"?

Collective bargaining was not completely removed, simply limited to salary.

As to why, your guess is as good as mine.

Perhaps it is because those professions actually involve danger.

Perhaps the general public thinks more highly of them than they do about surly DMV clerks and incompetent teachers.

Maybe the firefighters and coppers are next.

I can see a trend starting. Maybe all the unemployed in these republican governed states will actually rise to the cause and show up at the correct governmental offices in protest of these draconian cuts, cuts necessitated by republican governors giving huge tax breaks to corporations, criminal. I know if they protest in Vegas, and they damn well should, I'll be out there. The cuts to our university system will gut the system. In a time when education is needed to keep up with the rest of the world, cutting funding so millionaires and billionaires can have a tax break is really criminal. We don't necessarily have a spending problem as much as we have a revenue problem. Education and other government services require funding. When all these cuts are implemented, we will have much more unemployment, as much as 10,000 in Nevada alone. Rescind the Bush tax cuts for once and forever and let the top 2% pay their dues.

Maybe because he knew how the Unions would act to losing their ill gotten benefits and ability to milk the tax payers in the future and didn't want to risk police striking too in the same manner. Maybe they consider Police and Fire Department to be "essential" or that they do a dangerous job and they should be able to negotiate because of that.

You obviously don't know what a Dictator is. Not even in the most lala of lands could you consider Gov Walker a dictator.

We don't have a spending problem, and deficit spending is a good thing, and the top 50% should be punished for being above average. If the neighbor has a pie and you have none, you should get half because its fair. Never mind where the pie came from.

we have articulated many, many reasons why the top 2% (not 50%, dunce) should go back to paying the same tax rates they did under clinton. go back in the thread and review.
