Everyone on this board needs to heed this advice. Starting now we all need to start working on a two year non-perishable food supply and a two to three week supply of water. Place a drop of clorox in gallon of water to preserve it. You can boil it later to get rid of the clorox. You can spend 20 dollars per week and have your supply within six months.

I'm not being an alarmist. I'm being a realist.

You will also need basic medical supplies,wool clothing and blankets,portable hand charge radio and if you're so inclined, firearms and ammunition. If you're on medication that helps you stay alive then I suggest you contact your insurance company and pharmacist and see if you can get a three month supply and store it in a cold place (refrigerator, basement, root cellar, Ann Coulter's heart).

Shit is getting real and everyone needs to start doing this.

Oh and the trolls who are going to find this thread too tempting to pass up? Fuck off.

I have pretty much everything covered for 4 ppl......my GF, me. my son, my daughter.................I rotate my store goods yearly.......enough food for 4 for a year.........water I have 3 55 gal containers I trade out every year........nice location underground......weapons.....for trade or protection............what ever.............Ive been like this long time............and have quit a few friends that are covered same way..........not an alarmisth just reality...........all I need is about 1 hour head start........if its quicker then will have to do what I can do...........


EDIT: that includes stuff like radio and meds and first aid and all that........and SEEDS......

I spent all of yesterday plotting out the new garden. Looking to be around 40 square meters including the greenhouse, so hpefully i should be set to say a big FUCK YOU to the supermarket amnd the governemtns insistence that i participate in the big game of money.

we need this stuff because we simply can't feed evryone on a feasible level. But for me, just money, why the fuck would i give the local supermarket £1.80 for 100g of blackberries grown over in fucking mexico when i can pick them for free. IT makes me laugh out loud at the stupid fucks wasting their money on the stuff :D

As to water, i forsee it becoming a gold mine in the future. There is only so much water on earth for drinking, and opele plain couldnn't give a cunts fuck about population sizes. I like the idea of knowing you shouldn't have another child because he'll fucking starve to death. Nowadays we have as many kids as we like vecause we simpy goto the supermarket, there is no conept or awareness of where the food comes from and the available quanities etc, everyone assumes that nomater how hungry they are the supermarket can provide. People need to stop being stupid fucks :)

I started making a survival kit a few years back. I got as far as a gas mask, a .38, 4 boxes of ammo, a sleeping bag, a tent and some misc supplies. I got side-tracked and quit gathering. I agree though time to start again.

"My" garden is actually a godsend, i live top floor of a building, but fortunately my aprents just bought up a place and offered to let me be the gardener for my own cut of produce, couldn't have been more fortunate. But i talked about the simple possiblity of putting herb pots on my windowsill, and was told that it may violate the lease on the building, not my lease as tennant, but the lease?? on an owned property.

In these days, if i were to put up some tomatoes on the windowsill, or put some solar panels on the roof, due to the building, the governemnt would tear them out. WTF! you cannopt enforce car emission laws and such, and then stop someone from lowering oil dependancy and use, and all that, purely because of planning permisison etc. We're locked into this sytem, or so they'd like us to be. A fantastic bunch of guys and girls i used to buy from, they grouped together, bought up a huge field, and simply lived in tents, and within 2 years had become so self sufficient that they were then selling so much surplass that they were able to pay for a big farm shop and whatnot, but always keeping wit "profit isn't important". Growing food has to be the BEST industry there is if you're not doing it in the hope of "£15K a year after tax" etc. Where on earth did the concept of simply living dissapear to? All you hear from governemnts, it's never survival, always growth. Why the fuck is growth so important? I learnt many years ago that the pleasure of continually one-upping fellow freinds and whatnot, it was superficial as FUCK

something i realsed the other day, where in fuck did the ability to pay taxes and such in percentages of your harvest dissapear to? As i say, they need us to be reliant on their money. Else they have fuck all power over us or anyone. A post i read on this forum hit me quite profoundly, "don't you like money" in the context being of why would you chose to make do when you could be getting more than you need.

Even when the bank doesn't own it, you can be damned sure you don't own it. My flat cost a LOT, yet unless it is sold through legal means (including the taxes and price of exchanging deeds that seems mandatory these days) the government will have legal ownership of it after a period of time.

And don't ditch stuff, freeze it or give it away! Part of my work is in the food business, at the end of each day if there is stuff lying around that would otherwise goto waste, i gather it up and either give it to anyone i meet on the street, or i go and give it to homeless poeple, i hate the idea of waste when someone could have benefited from it. I'm by no means perfect but i try to keep to that mantra. Normally if i'm having a smoke out and about and someone walks up and asks for a puff, i'll have a few tokes and a brief chat with them and then insist that they keep it, i have plenty more so i like to be able to do spontaneous good deeds for people when they really don't exp[ect it :)

Being Japanese and it seems we're all jam packed into our house like a can of sardines we seem to have everything in the event something were to come up so i'm not worried. We call the Pantry the Mormon Closet lol

OMG! If i say pantry to people, they ask what in holy fuckadoodle i'm talking about! Respect to the knowledge of the pantry! We had meat hooks in ours and everything, gotta get that beef tender :)

This is so important! More & more people need to be doing this! Some of my friends think i'm crazy, but when the shit hits the fan & we need food & water, they'll be coming to me. It's not just food, but meds, soap... everything you need, oh & guns!. It's better to be safe. Good thread!
