Hey...just ordered some Lowryder2 from Dr Chonic...among others. :mrgreen:

Wondering if anyone has completed a grow with these beans from them? If so, was it a good result? :joint:

Did you receive your order within a reasonable time? Anyone ripped off? :cry:

I too have ordered Lowryder 2 from Doc, just started them on the 9th. Got my seeds in 7 days. Cool package, discreet.

That is good to hear. Kind of nervous tossing that much cash overseas.

Anyone tried topping the hell out of these? Just wondering if it would even be worth it? I am guessing they flower to fast to gain any beneficial new tops.

I'm just going to let them grow out without topping as I'm not sure how that would effect growth and yeild. Just wanted to try them while the others strains are flowering. I'd just let them do their own thing and see what happens.

Just received confirmation that the Doc is shipping these...hope to see them soon. I like your light hanger...that is a great idea for using CFLs. Are you going to try and produce some seeds?

Has anyone done this with Lowryder2? Good results?

Thanks for the link...although you have http in there one too many times. I am going to try the seed thing as well. Hopefully the numbers of female/male will be optimal to do this (one male and the rest fems).

Do you think LR2 would be better in soil or hydro? I am currently doing hydro (DWC & Aero) and just a couple of soil. End result would be to go outside this year...I have a short season so this seems like a great match.

I am not sure which is better yet, but I do have two in soil so hopefully I'll get a female and get to try a little of hydro and soil to see. Oh yeah sorry about the http, wasn't paying attention.

LR2's are great lil autos..
I grow them in between my other plants to fill the grow space.
Topping isnt really a go idea with LRs, it'll slow growth, which isnt good as these have a limited lifespan and you'll get more colas but alot smaller in size.
Mine grow unmolested, and end up 16-18" tall and i average approx 2.5 oz wet from each plant.

Its a nice sociable smoke, that wont knock your ass out, but will be a good chilled buzz.
Harvest late for amber trichs an its a very subtle up high, then instant couchlock...but in a nice way.

Nice pics...going to try mine in a DWC setup. Going to use a combo of 250 HPS and some 6500k CFLs...all the way through. Good info on the light schedule too. After reading your thread I will keep it at 18/6. Hopefully I can produce a lot of seeds for an out door grow.

Good luck with your lowryders, I'm almost five weeks into my first grow with them and so far it's been awesome. you'll love watching them grow. i can't believe that i put them in soil five weeks ago and i've already got beautiful buds to look at!! my girls are spitting out hairs like crazy now. they smell great too!

So it is a done deal....I will be starting a journal on these. The Doc hooked me up! Very quick service. Received in like 4 days from notice. All have cracked within 48 hours.:mrgreen: Very happy. Got some others too...and started a couple of White Widows. Anyway...so far I would have to recommend the Dr. :joint:
