almost 4 weeks into flowering and no buds?

So im growing 1 black widow plant in a DWC system she's grown under a 250 watt hps bulb, ph ususally between 5.6 6.0, room temp ranges from about 70 to 85 degress and I changed it over to 12/12 about 4 weeks ago and she's showin no sign of any pistols or anything...anyone maybe know what's goin on here? I mean the plant itself looks beautiful just no buds yet

Nope, I just checked that a few days ago and just to be sure I put up some more black tarp across the already covered window...and I will try to put up some pics

I can't lie I didn't veg for to long only about a month...I really didn't have to veg for long she was already 10 inches by then and I didn't wanna run outta space when she started to flower cuz I know it would've doubled in size....right now she stands about 2 ft tall....and naw no auto flower

Thats a long veg IMO... but 2' is tiny for its age. Whats your setup? Any nutes?

Check your timer and make sure that it's right. I have the timer where you have to push in little buttons for on, and pull them out for off. I accidentally bumped one of the buttons once, and had my light coming on for 15 minutes during the dark cycle. Oops!

L..We'll my nutes are from stealthy hydro already ph ready...Ive heard from a few ppl there pretty good and seem to be living up to there standards..my setups in a simple hyrdponic/bubbleponic system there growin in 4inch rockwool cubes with hydroton rocks under 250wastt hps..and yea I've also checked the timer as well every few days its been in 12/12, seems to be working correctly..now I've also heard that when you switch over to flowering the first 2 weeks is like an adjustment period and you consider it flowering stage after that in that case my girl would only be 1 week in...anyone know about that being true?

Get pictures. It shouldn't take 2 weeks for them to switch over, you should have seen SOMETHING at the end of 1 week and plenty of things at 2 weeks of 12/12

The most likely reason for a MJ plant to not show a sign of flowering after a month of 12/12 I would say is...

#1 Getting more than 12 hours of light per 24 hour period (don't use lighting schedules that use more than 24 hour days/cycles)
#2 Its somehow a male that is oddly not showing its sacs yet?
#3 Soemthing is seriously screwed up with its genetics and no one will ever figure out the answer to this dilema
#4 It isn't marijuana growing

Cut back the lighting another hour and see if she responds.
Yeah I would guess this is the only thing you could do. I've heard of strains that will flower with 13 or 14 hours of light per day but I've always heard that 12/12 was a rule and that all strains would flower with 12/12. I don't see why there couldn't be a strain that adapted to start flowering with more than 12 hours of dark per day, but I've never heard anyone talk of one.

ok thanks for the advise guys im gonna try and cut back the light and hour for a few days and see what happens, im also changing the res water this weekend which I do every week btw...illl check back in and let you guys know, thanks again hopefully this works

Well if it hasn't started flowering at all because it hasn't gotten enough night, you will need to give it at least 7-10 days before you change it again (because it usually takes that long to see signs of flowering after switch from veg).

+1. Sounds like an oversight. Im pretty sure they are genetically required to flower in 12 hours of dark...unless it's an auto of course.

You should have seen something by now. I know your using a basic mechanical timer but rly check on it(I know you said you did). I've heard off ppl usin a timer that wasn't set for the weekends you had to manually do it (7 day digital timer). Somehow your not getting a solid 12 hrs of dark. Must either be a light leak, timer malfunction. I've never heard if needing more than 12 hrs but adding 1 is your best bet unless you find a light leak. Maybe even give it a straight 36 hrs of dark then back to 13/11. That will speed it up but if it needs 13 hrs it will take at least a week to see anything and in 2 it should be budding.

Let us know man, go in there and make sure its perfectly dark, I once had my cieling fan light on n forgot it and I couldn't tell while my hids where on luckily I checked on em that night when they went off and I caught it. But that's an easy mistake.
