1st time grower, need veg light help

So I've been reading around and i'm trying to decide what kind of light would be best to use during the veg, right now during the day i take the plants outside, and then at sunset i bring them in and put them in my grow room, i have them under 2 4ft fluorescents and they are growing well, my concern is when it comes time to veg, I'm stumped, i've seen the blue and red lights, at lowes and i'm wondering if i need some of them, i think i've decided to go with the 600 watt sodium light they have at lowes for like a total of $30, i'm not real sure about this light situation, any help would be appreciated, i'll post a pic of my little grow room as well, maybe that will help. cheers :leaf:

lowes has a 600w hps for 30 bucks?for the whole thing..or just a bulb?sounds crazy!i wud veg under a mh light,if u can,but cfl work well..so does those 4ft floros,thats wat i veg under!good luck!

the work light is like 12 bucks, and the light itself is like 28, you veg under the floros?? what kind of yield do you get out of that, i was reading where a guy said that the yield from the floros wouldn't pay the electric it used to grow with it, which is what got me concerned in the first place lol

I am brand new here and very new to growing.
Im currently 4 weeks into flower on my second inside grow so pretty much everything is a new
experience.

After spending months reading as much as possible about the plant i still find the odd questions
arise.
I am hoping to steal a bit of knowledge from some of you guys.
Thanks,Billy.:weed:

I'm sorry, i misspoke, i meant flowering. I use only the floros and the sun for the veg, my concern is the light during the flowering part, i also saw the red and blue cfl's and was wondering what those were used for and if they were any good??

I've had a fortunate few months and this is what is currently at my disposal: a relatively large closet space, 1000W Fresca Sol WATER COOLED Light System with their magnum xxl reflector. My budget is not an issue as my housemates and I are splitting it six ways and am only interested in buying professionally made products.

I AM DEFINITELY GROWING AN AUTOFLOWER so,

My main question is given my light what type of plant set up would you place underneath it. My ideas so far are 2 botanicare turbogarden aeroponic systems which has spots for 14 plants each. But if i do this will i have to only grow the smallest varieties of autos like lowryder. Or is it possible to grow larger varieties. Another idea i have is using a system like a waterfarm 8 pack and growing a larger yielding plant. But with this system is how many could eb grown under that light.

I'm not real sure how many or what type of plant i should grow under the light. Oh and since each grow cylce will be relatively low yielding I'm interested in maximizing the yield per grow cycle.

Any ideas??
