What happened with Cali Connection?

I grew bogbubble and bogglegum. They were fine, super stinky, slightly better than average yields, good density, but I let the genetics go after a while. He's a much better grower than a breeder.
EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, they were pretty good yielders. Deceiving because of density. And the most important thing of all, they finished fast, like under 50 days which is very desirable. His quick finishing times would be why I'd give him more business, not because the quality was extraordinary.

yeah, that's pretty much the sentiment that I've heard with bog. Not all that potent but, quick finishers. Never had any experience with bog and this is why, I remember when he came back to icmag after a break and he was selling his beans for dirt cheap and those who hadn't grown his gear were excited but, I saw quite a few people chime in with not so great reviews. Many stated that the bubble gum based strains didn't actually taste like bubble gum, his strains generally lacked potency, they were over hyped, and the descriptions weren't consistent with the end product.
So, after seeing a bunch of his gear just sit and sit next thing you know the price doubled. Still kind of confused about that but, from what I hear gypsy started putting his tax on it.
Anyway, haven't grown the gear and haven't heard any real reason not to find out for myself.

BOG grows some really frosty stuff so I think people were excited when he made his genetics available back when overgrow was still around. Normal-to-good potency but back when I bought his strains, they were $45 a pack. Now they're $95 and that's overpriced based on what $95 gets you from other breeders who have won dozens of international awards.

If you want the low down about the ruderalis pollen go ask swerve he will tell you.NO it did not start auto flowering due to f5 or f6 generation of seeds that ive seen you say.If that was the case alot of breeders would have auto flowering genetics like your boy for one.He even lets you know he is selling f5,f6 and so on.I got everything from cali connection growing right now if not growing they got next round to come in and all is doing great.

Why would I ask him? I was around when the autoflowering issue first came up. It wasn't ruderalis pollen. I'm just hearing about that now. His breeding techniques or lack thereof is what caused the autoflowering and caused his first ban. This has been documented which, rez eluded to in the og ibl project thread on icmag.
As far as, Sannie and f+ breeding. There's nothing wrong with breeding f2 and so on. You're only producing progeny with isolated traits specific to the p1 stock. In other words, for those who don't know, very little variation from the mother and father. That's breeding and all breeders do it. So, f+ breeding isn't a bad thing but, in swerves case he made some fatal mistakes.
I don't need his bias excuses because, I was there and read saw all about it and watched him lie about the topic and say it was all slander but, when so many credible people have the same experience with proof the truth really came out. Gypsy, erased his ass and everything that had to do with him. I just wanted to know if, anyone had a link or bookmarks to all those threads gypsy erased. People find those lost threads all the time. I wanted to reexamine them for future reference. Swerves excuse has no benefit to me, I'm looking for the info about the topic gypsy erased.
You may not have issue but, there's a ton of people who have and still haven't gotten replacement packs.

well im not trying to let this get out of hand but i was thc farmer when this issue was up and from everything about this its ruderalis pollen that was in the mix for the autoflowering he even replaced those who bought packs from that time.
So far swerve has been straight with me with any question and every strain i got of his is straight fire.

Me too WBW mate, but I have been reading a lot about how loads of people he still owes refunds to who still aren't getting the replacemnts from the "auto" issued packs they bought from over at the 'farm ages ago, have you read all the "replacement packs" threads on the CC forum with the people complaining about not getting anything back even after they' sent him their safe addy's and pic's of their packs?? None of the newer CC stock drop seems to be selling as fast as previous drops at the 'tude either. Has Swerve damaged his rep for good this time??

^^^ His prices have dropped substantially as well. I think a lot of people are just starting to find out the history. With all the og hype it's easy to look @ his stock and pull the trigger but, he has a bad track record pre thcfarmer.

Oh yeah to answer that alot of people are thanking swerve for the replacement packs sending alot of stuff out and people are shitting thier pants when they see what they got.You might want to go to the forum and check it out.Ive heard form plenty of people that they are happy with the replacement packs

i was going to come back and say the same thing wyte.. after reading this, i got all excited and went over to look at the pre98 bubba, but i'd be damned, it was no where near $70.. fuck me.. and here i got all wet thinking i was gonna get a real deal... lol.. oh well, onwards and upwards..
