Ok, I was thinking soiless as in hydroton or hydro. Thats why I was saying that the vinegar wouldn't work with it. Actually what I was saying was that the vinegar causes a buildup in the hydro that is visible, so I was just wondering what kinda buildup or damage it does to soil grows that you can not see because you can't see in the soil like you can your rez in hydro. if that makes any sense. Happy Growing!
Yup soiless as in peat based potting mix . I would have said flood and drain or DWC otherwise . Na no buildup with vinegar lol .How much was you useing . 1 TBSP of that treats 5 gal of water thats preety diluted . Any buildup that your plants dont like , they will tell you .

Few more updates :

Well I did figure out I was a week off on Medibud .So earlier where i say shes at 4 weeks , she's actually at 5 .And just entered week 7 . Thats good still my best plant to date and she is nice green and healthy at wk 7 .Yeehaw .

I formatted a chart to track each plant individually by date .This way I can chart on one page a whole month of watering / feed cycles and note anything added to the soil .

Blueberry Express has responded well to flowering in her 1st week .She streached on up but not too bad .
Purple Flo bush at wk 2 has started forming bud sites .She streached up nicely , lot's of heads on this one .This plant without troubles from here should yield out nicely .

I keep a daily journal that I hand write when down in the garden. After I come up stairs I usually transfer any of the important events to herb.iq for tracking. You can track everything in the software if you want, and I might once I can take my ipad downstairs to enter the info, but I just use it for tracking my germ/veg/flower/harvest dates mostly, and any other important events like training, etc.

It might be easier for you than the chart you created.

Thanks . I rather a hard copy , it's easier and no worries about losing stuff. I made the chart so you can "visually" see on "one " page everything .It gives a quick visual of where your at . I'm not much on technology beyond a computer or cell phone .

:idea:ISOhash Findings

I'm on my 4th run . I'm washing once and then through a strainer then coffee filter .
I'm finding it cures better if you let it dry out almost completly before scraping.:leaf:

Looks like I'm getting 1 gram of full melt hash per roughly 7-12 grams of trim . I just sampled the last run .It was all Pineapple express trim . Smoked great ,got full melt and it hits preety hard . My goal is to build up enough to make hard candys , but keep a stash built up for when I'm in severe pain to smoke. Will also be trying alcohol tincture soon , the cold method is pretty simple .What's driving me to figure this stuff out is that when I'm in severe pain smoking makes my stomach turn or I just can't smoke enough . Edibles are great for this and with smoking the hash 1 big hit I feel is equal to a whole bowl . Peace:leaf:

Can you give details on how you do it? How long you soak/wash, etc?

I just made another batch this weekend and am probably starting another batch tonight with some of my premature, accidentally re-veg'd, chronics I harvested early. I used <2 pints of iso, 17g of trim/popcorn, and quick-washed it 3 times through the same 2x coffee filters. I freeze it for 45 minutes, crush it, soak for 45 seconds, shake for 45 seconds, and strain. Throw the trim back in the jar and repeat twice more. I ended up with 1.9g of QWISO after letting it dry ~ 40 hours. I have ~60g more of trim/popcorn ready right now for butter/hash and 2 more premature/reveg plants that have been hanging for 10 days to trim. I haven't posted pics of the final product in my journal yet, but will do it later tonight or tomorrow.

I'm just doing one stage only for a 30 sec shake . I'm guessing at the trim weight though . I've done it with dryed trim and wet and can't tell the differance .

Your running it through 1 time then freezing the liquid ? Or do you mean your freezing the trim after the first filter run then rerunning it? Do you get considerably more that way ? How does it smoke? I haven't smoked alot of it just sampled , seems to hit hard but taper off fast after about 30 min. I notice after going through a coffee filter there is always some that doesnt go through . So I was guessing running it multiple times would cause loss?Or do you just recover what gets stuck in the filter? .My last run will be dry this morning . I did find that letting it dry well in the pan helps out a lot with the finished product not being as gooey more managable to work with and shape .I wont have any more trim for a few weeks right now got a plant that fell behind puting me out of cycle a bit with my rotation.

Peace

I freeze the dried trim for 30 minutes then break it up a bit before it goes into the jar the first time. I dump in the iso, let it soak, then shake it, then pour it thru the screens/filters. Most of the crushed trim stays in the bottom of the jar and I pour in more iso while the first pour finishes going thru the filters. Shake the 2nd wash, filter it thru the screens, and then one final wash. On the final wash I pour it out faster so all the trim ends up in the screens.

I like to wait 36 - 48 hours before I scrape it up so it is completely evaporated and as dry as possible. I just opened my pill bottle I put it into yesterday and it was all stuck to the bottom so I guess I should have let it dry a bit more before sealing it up. I was able to stir it and get it loose again but I need to make sure I wait closer to 48 hours next time, instead of 40ish hours. The previous batch didn't get quite as sticky but I let it sit out for a while, after I scraped it, before sealing it up in a bottle.

Cool deal Rasputin ,I will try it that way next time mabey I'll end up with more . The next trim might be the Medibud , I think it will make some potent hash , but so far it doesnt seem to resin out as heavy will be watching her these last few weeks .
