planning on planting outdoors for the first time during first week of May... when do your guys' plants typically show sex outdoors in MA? is FFOF still great soil outdoors (not in pots)? im planning on planting and letting them do their own thing (no water/nutes, just good ol' mother nature and a visit here and there)
i tried this last summer... jsut to warn ya (not sure where your doing it... is it in ur backyard? or u goin guerrilla style?) ur gonna wanna get sum pest control things.... i had a WW growing outdoors.. and this thing was like 5 ft tall.... but.. there wasnt SHIT on the plant. lol. just a stem adn a lil 4 gram nug on the top. all up the stem was covered with slugs at each node.. and other wierd ass buds too... things ive never seen b4. soo just be careful!
also.. make sure when you get the soil ( i used MG Moisture Control Soil... and it worked fine.. i use that for indoors too and get GREAT results) you DONT get POTTING SOIL. you want GARDEN SOIL! im sure fox farm would work great too.
also.. not sure if theres any stores or anythign around you that sell High Times Magazines.... but if there is. your gonna wanna pick up a copy of the new magazine asap. cuz they have a lil spread on guerrilla growing that has alot of useful information that you could deff use. =) i am in MA as well. but im not 100% sure when they actually show sex... i wanna say towards the end of August tho. im sure if u look around on here. you can find out the exact date..
good luck man. get those plants goin now! i have tried just stickin a few seeds outside... and that doesnt work..... lol. yuour gonna wanna either take sum clones and root them adn stickem outside... or if ur growin from seed(s) ur gonna wanna veg them for at least a few weeks... cuz animals and bugs will DESTROY ur plants if theyre not big enough. soo just please make sure you wait till therye big enough... id hate to see you lose your plants to bugs adn animals like i did =/ ive heard breaking up eggshells and laying them down around the plant will help keep bugs and animals away.. good luck man
