Effect of dropping from 400w hps to 250w for final 2 weeks?

The days are getting warmer and I'm having a hard time keeping temps below 80. I do have a lumatek 400w ballast dimable to 250w. At 250 the temps are more manageable. I'm in the middle of the 7th week of flower. Do you think dropping to 250, at least on warm days, will have much effect on yield? The grow area is small, but you can see the difference in brightness immediately when you switch from 400 to 250.

youll get more yield from having temps of 80-100f and having a 400watter then having temps of below 80 and having a 250 watter

Yeah, unfortunately I think the yield difference will noticeable. The last two weeks is when a lot of bud swelling goes on...

80 sumtin is still workable just keep air circulating good and a oscellating fan at plant tops
i run 2 250w lights together in a tent that is 39 inch square and i adv around same temps when im up close to lights with no problem

nobody would ever notice, each plant is different and it's impossible to calculate the effect of the outcome. If it were theoretical the difference in yield would be no more than a blunts worth

Bud grown under low light intensity give light airy bud. Buds don't swell as much under low light either.
If you could control the heat, the yield would be bigger under a 400 w light. But if your choices are growing under 400 watt lights in a 100 degree room or growing in a 80 degree room with a 250 watt, I'd go 250 too. Depending on what you do to your plants its possible to pull the same harvest you would from a 400. Like growing in a scrog under 250 watts might yield the same a growing plants normal under a 400 watt.
