Allright so it currently is way to cold for me to go outside and will be for the next month yet i believe i should have some GreenHouse Bubba Kush and BarneysFarm L.S.D. coming my way soon. so i was thinking of getting either CFL's or T5's. (which do you prefer) i would also like to know the minnimum dimmensions i should put them in.

I'm germinating them first in a paper towl, then passing them into a grow tray/humidity dome with the 4 slot plastic trays under a heat mat. the soil im using will be Promix seedling mix for the beggining then will soon move to Foxfarms ocean forest or the promix bales in 16 oz cups.

anybody have any other things that im missing? it will be for 1 month

yeah, but do you know the dimmensions of the cabinet and type of light that i should run? the light needs to be cheap so under 40 would be great and i think i will build the cabinet.

I use the big 300watt cfl's from homedepot. Theyre $15 buck and the screw into any standard bulb socket.
3x3 ft should be big enough for 4 plants if your only gonna grow them for a month.

dude buy a 125 watt cfl. from thebigtomato.com they are pretty cheap but they are huge. they dont fit in regular sockets. i got one from there that i havent used and ill sell it for 25 dollars if youre interested. its brand new to. but if you dont want just the bulb which costs $40 you can buy the bulb and a ballast for like $70 or something. other than that idk. i just dont know how to hook this big ol light bulb up.

Yeah its a 300 watt equiv. It think 68watts is right. But I think its the biggest watt you can buy that can fit into a normal household socket. The ones that whyteboy is talking about come in 125 w, 200 w, and 250 w. You have to buy a larger socket for those. The bulb are expensive but they're better because the come in growth spectrum and they're more powerful, I've just never got around to buying one. Honestly the two $15 bulbs i bought from home depot have been working fine for sprouts, clones and early veg. Usually they combine the bulb with the socket and hood for like a total of $150 (200w). But if you put it together yourself it's a little cheaper. Heres a picture of the socket youll need to buy;

ehh it all depends, my dad might get his MJ card soon so i can grow more plants, if he does i think ill just move up to a 400-600W HPS for flower and a 1000W MH for growth.
P.S. this would allow me to get 4 mature and 14 immature plants so i might have to go to the store to buy some more wood :)
