Serious Question, Does anyone play music to their plants or talk to them?

I just remembered that Myth Busters did a test on this, obviously not MJ, but they had different types of music playing. They came out with a Busted claim on music. They noticed no difference between type of music and no music. I would like to see that Georgetown study, as I have been told, show the proof, and then I will believe. Not being rude, just so you know.

I also saw that on mythbusters. My take is that plants need and thrive on what they evolved with in nature. That didn't include music.

I was serious about showing the scientific research. But I just did not want to come off sounding rude. No sarcasam. I am the type of person that usually worries about not hurting other peoples feeling, and yes I am glad that I am like that....

I usto play nature sounds to my Hawaiian Baby Woodrose plant. rainforest, oceans, birds. It made a euphoric atmosphere so if the plant didn't enjoy it I sure did =P

I'm surprised there isn't more info on here, but some of the comments were so amusing I almost prefer that. For a scientific reason, imagine bird songs-- sound is a wave like light has a wavelength, and the right Hz helps internal mechanisms add some energy to the processes it uses to grow. Higher Hz = higher pitched sounds, like bird songs, and bass notes are low Hz, so they have less energy to give in the same given length of space (like a leaf).
