The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, said: "Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

"Look down at me and you see a fool;
look up at me and you see a god;
look straight at me and you see yourself” Charles Manson quote

“I can't dislike you, but I will say this to you: you haven't got long before you are all going to kill yourselves, because you are all crazy. And you can project it back at me ... but I am only what lives inside each and every one of you.”

Thank you very much! And I honestly mean that. I was fully prepared for an onslaught of flame from you. lol I knew you where a nice guy:hug:
Haha! No no, I only flame or troll when its required. Deep down I am a nice guy. Glad you liked the quote. The Dalai Lama moves me unbelievably... I was within 500 feet of him when he was in Boston a long time ago. It honestly made me feel different, he changes peoples perspective without even saying anything. It was totally mind blowing. I would like to preface that statement by saying Im not a religious person at all.

This is one of my favorite one liners: "Sleep is the best meditation." - Dalai Lama

And so true -- I practiced meditation for a few months a while back, it's very difficult, I mean true meditation is very hard. But once you fully understand yourself and can truly meditate, it's one of the greatest feelings to come over you.

Now the trick is to be able to meditate while high. That would be mind blowing I imagine.

"We are our own worst enemy. Greed will be the end of mankind" - Some movie a long time ago when i was a teenager. Stuck with me for some reason. Even though it was a movie it is so true. How can people be the way they are? I don't get it. That Dalai Lama knows whats up. Why do we strive for money to the point of killing ourselves or others? It's hard to think of how this world is going to end. Even if it doesn't end something drastic is going to happen and end things as we know it.

Better is a handful of rest than a double handful of hard work and striving after the wind. Ecc. 4:6 - Laziness :D
