hey guys this is my first grow and need to know how to persuade outwards growth and stop them from growing so tall so quick
you are growing a stavita dominant plant they are always going to grow tall compared to an indica!
the only other option is to use a net and spread them under it!

how long do ya boil it for 200sxy just curious
what do u strain it with man looks like some greenery got into it or does it just look that way cause its in bags? and i wouldnt leave it in the bags to long man it will go off real quick as moisture will get into it put it in a tupper ware tub or old butter container man

It's in the freezer, I simmered it for about 4 hours, all canna butter is green to some extent, but we used fresh trim and buds because of the situation so its greener but I'm going to refine it next week when I get a chance to get some of the chloraphill out.
Had 2 northern lights get bud rot out in the bush took em out to protect the rest, so much rain and humidity down my way this year, fucking la Nina. Lost probe bout 1 1/2lbs because of it. Making it all into brownies soon dunno where to find a market for it tho.
Had a tsp of it last nite, my gf woke me up on the couch at 6am couldn't even remember passing out. Exciting stuff

i know all butter is green
but yours doesnt look that green to me in those bags thats why i asked how long u boiled it for but the fact u didnt dry it could also be the reason as you not gunna extract as much out of wet green and also looks like it has contaminents in it to me in those pics but could just be the bags i guess

We strained it with a 225 thread count pillow case instead of cheese cloth, it was a lot harder to get through which I think also contributed to the lighter color had to use rubber gloves to sqeeze it out, burnt like hell could only squeeze a little out at a time as it cooled down.
Had to use every single pot, vaise, jars, bowls, pyrex and fruit bowl in the house and only just made it, had to wait for one lot to set till I could put the other half in the fridge
Nah no contaminates at all just the butter and a little protien but I'll get that out on the second round

a lil trick with straing the butter that i do is use 2 sets of tongs
i hold the the top part of the material with one set then twist the ball of hotness with the other tongs works a treat by the time you need to use gloved hands its cooled a bit and u wont have much left to squeeze

hey guys whats the best site to order a larger quantity of seeds? looking at 50-100 is it better to do 5 smaller orders for example or just a 1 off big 1?

ived never ordered seeds before, ive only ever used clones, ill give planet skunk a go, can any recomend a strain to grow now in a greenhouse, the temps are fine, i just need a strain that would work well with 12/12 light

Personally, I'd rather go with a smaller seed bank that actually care for there customers rather than the big players were your just a order number, also smart to do multiple small orders, at least if customs do there dirty work you won't lose the lot, only small qty.

Oh and you could also click on my link, on page 2 someone posted some info about fungas gnats as I had a bug problem aswell, if its the same bugs it might help.

Hey guys. First post.
I brew my own beer at home and have been doing so for the past few years. Have a shed with 200kg+ of grain (2.5 kilos is pretty much enough for a carton of beer), back room and backyard dedicated to the hobby with 8 kegs and 2 taps of beer continuously flowing.
My love for all that it good quality and home made has urged me to get into growing my own. However, I have NFI how to even start. I live in Adelaide and there are hydroponic stores basically on every corner. What is stopping me from having a plant growing is 3 reasons.
1) My girlfriend doesn't like it because it is illegal
2) I rent
3) Pretty paranoid that the police will knock on my door straight away and arrest me and throw me in jail (a bit OTT but still, is a concern)
In an ideal world, I would like to have 1 plant growing at all times and for it to be a 'brand name' strain, i.e. white rhino, super lemon haze, ak47 etc etc.
Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Just to add...I have done a about 2 days worth of research on the net about how to grow. I understand the fundamentals of it all. Have a grow tent in mind, with a 400w light and odor filter. Just thinking of starting out with soil in pots as I read that 1 plant is only a $300 fine, but if it is hydro it is considered 'commercial'...does that include using a tent and lights though? Even though I am using soil?

Question for fellow Aussies..
I'm pretty sure I've got an aphid issue.. growing inside in an uncontrolled environment (not in a box/tent etc - plant is quite literally just sitting on my dressing table under CFL's - growing quite well considering!) first grow, so it's been an interesting experience.
Tomorrow I'm hitting up bunnings for a bigger pot because she's outgrown the 200mm one. Will put her in new soil and make sure I add that layer of sand on top. Want to treat her though and was wondering if anyone had any favourite brands they could suggest?
