my wife and I went to Hash Bash last year and had a blast. Hit the DIag in the afternoon though it was chilly and smoked a few J's with some kids we didnt know and then went back to the hotel and got dressed for the Cheech and Chong show at Michigan Theather. We stayed at a shitty hotel too far from the Diag and downtown AA.
We were going to go this year but wiith gas prices and our level of bank account we decided to stay home.

Like with my butters, I tend to use more bud and trimmings then most when making meds so the actual ammounts of trimmings and or fresh bud is really a personal thing.
I generally let mine simmer for about 12 hours where others go as long as 2 or 3 days.
I think there is more lose of medical value if it cooks for that long.
The best part about the tincture is that you can taste/sample it as it cooks so you can stop it when it gets to where you want it to me.
Not sure where you are located, by the Glyc can be hard to find.
I have a shop here in town that gets me a gallon of it for about $65. (Adrian)
They sell 4 oz bottles for like $8 bucks but I have to order anything larger.
Other stores that carry it may work the same way.
