Hey everybody, This is my first grow, and im growing White Castle. A mostly sativa strain, with White Widow and Ice from Nirvana Seeds.

Just to let everyone know, the whole delivery process took about 5 weeks via Attitude Seedbank.

Now on to my babies, im germating these girls in a brown paper towel and enclosed in a zip-loc bag. I have the bag behind my PS3(gives of a good bit of heat). In less than 36hrs all 3 seeds have germated. Great Success!!!

I believe I will be putting these babies in soil tomorrow night. Fox Farms: Ocean Forest. Anyone 2nd that motion??

I had 2 of the 3 cracked open within 24hrs but that last one took a little bit more time. How long do you let your taproot grow before you put it in soil, jhod? Ive read that you wanna do it when the taproot is 1.5in-3in.

I put my beans in soil as soon as they split apart, I don't wait for a taproot to get too long if I can help it because that can damage it when you plant. But instead, as soon as the seed splits apart and i KNOW it's gonna grow, I put it in soil or rockwool with the pointed end down...so that little root can just shoot out and start doing it's thing. From your pic, i'd say plant away and don't wait another day.

Also, I have no experience with FF, but I hear people talking on here about not putting sprouts directly into FoxFarms cause it's a hot mix for seedlings, lots of nutes and burns 'em sometimes when used undiluted.

If you buy Jiffy Pods, they are so cheap and You can get like 30 of them for nothing. They alwasy work really well for me and then You just stick them in the soil when they're ready

I do have plenty of Jiffy pods. I also hear that those arent too good either, due to they hold alot of water and may cause a over watering problem. I really need to come up with a solution quick. I believe its gonna be the jiffy pellets.

I originally started growing 2 seeds of white castle over a week ago but due to a act of mother nature, only one of my babies are still alive. I planted it directly in FF; OF. and the plant seems to be doing really good, since it did fall 9ft to the concrete floor just about 3 or 4 days ago.

I think I may see a little sign of nute burn, but it doesnt look to serious. You really cant even tell unless you get right up on it. The true leaves are looking amazing, and the cotyledons are looking pretty good but its on these leaves where if you look carefully you can see the tip of 1 of the leaves showing some signs of nute burns but over all the plants looks healthy.

I feel like there is no way you can fuck up a Fox Farm grow. I attribute all of my success to that soil hah. Looks good dude!

as long as you don't over water jiffy pots you won't have an over watering problem, I found if you water them they hold water REALLY well and mold will start if they stay to wet. just my two cents

Didnt use the jiffy pots. Really didnt want to worry about over watering. I enjoy watering my babies, since of pride, I guess? I put these girls straight into the soil. Im using Fox Farms: Ocean Forest, I heard that using this my burn my plants from the nutes already in the soil. I did a little research on the subject and choose to go ahead and just do it in plant them in the FF: OF. As of now, I think my plants are looking pretty nice right now, Im not seeing no signs of nute burn and ill keep my fingers crossed after saying that.

I water my plants when the top of the soil is pretty dry, seems to be around every 24-36 hours and I have them on a 22/2 light schedule, with the lights about 1in away from the plants, well was.... I moved the light from 1in to 4in, wanted to see if i'll be able to tell a difference tomorrow on height.
