Dude! I had to stop here and comment, before going on with your thread, which I'm lovin so far by the way. I've been a Mastiff owner since around 2002 since we got our first boy, and in 06 we got our second boy. Our first isn't with us anymore but our other still his, all intact too. No papers though. Here's a shot of my current boy.

I call him Mister. Well, back to your thread. I wanted to ask, are you a fan of NL#5 and if so, have you heard of Dr. Atomic?

Nice job on giving a pic of the roots after you've taken air pot off. Was curious on how that would look.

Hey duchie thanks for stopping by bro. That's a mighty fine looking specimen you got there my friend. I was lucky enough to have friends that breed Mastiffs and out of the blue they decided to give me one free of charge. I was hesitant at first about taking him in because I was afraid he would tear my house up (which he has a little). I've had him now for almost 4 years and wouldn't give him up for anything. He's a big part of the family now and I just love him to death.

I wouldn't say I'm a big fan of NL#5. It's just the first seeds I ever bought thru a seed bank. The reason I went with that particular strain is because of it's low oder during flowering. At the time I couldn't afford a carbon filter and I didn't want anything to stink my house up. I just got my order in from the attitudes birthday promo a cpl of days ago and I plan on growing some pineapple express after I'm done with round 3 of the NL. I'm also just a one strain at a time type of guy due to my small grow space. If I had the room I'd be growing out a lot of stuff.

I never herd of Dr Atomic but now I'm gonna do a Google search on him.

Thanks man. I've already been smoking on some tester buds and I'm very pleased with it and it's only gonna get better with time. The last time I harvested I forgot to take pics of the roots so I definitely wanted to get pics this time around. I couldn't be happier with the air pots.

The plant in the sink is mighty tasty looking. Thats what i want for dinner!!!
And this picture of your plants really inspired me to transplant a couple of mine this weekend. I really do love the airpots.. I had a couple plants in those "smart Pots" but i really wasnt liking them very much for a few reasons. It was very ironic you just posted the pictures of taking your plants out of the airpots.. I thought there might be something wrong with my plants when i took them out... but they looked just like your root ball. Amazing how crumbely it was.. i wasnt prepared for that at all.
What is it that you are smoking right now that is so strong.. I could use a doob of that!:bigjoint:

Thanks doc, I always try my best to keep things neat and tidy for the women folk whenever they decide to pop in to say hi. I've been using these air pots for a while now and I aint got nothing but good things to say about em. I've been smoking the Northern lights # 5 since Christmas. It's a heavy yielding plant with a stone to match. I think everybody should at least try it once in there lifetime. To bad you live so far away because I'd gladly give you doob to try out.

Yeah I trimmed her up last night and let me tell ya, trimming is a lot tougher after drying the whole plant. I'm gonna have to see a huge difference in quality and taste if I'm gonna stick with that method. With humidity being 40% and temps at around 70*, it did take a cpl of days longer to dry but it was still too fast for me. As for the no flush, I can't really taste any difference between the two. I'll have to wait at least another 30 days to cure before I make that final decision. I ended up with 5.5 ounces off the one plant but I expect that number to drop a little the longer it cures. I'm guessing I'll end up with 5 ounces and I'm estimating about the same for the second plant when it gets the chop. I'm not trying to get ahead of myself but 10 ounces for this grow would be a personal best for me and it'll be a good payday too. I'll post all the buds in few more days

I'm gonna put the 400 in my veg room today and get those started flowering. I just hope I don't have a heat issue. If so I'll have to put the T5's back in there.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. You can see why I asked you about the NL. His whole 5 strain lineup is based off it. The history he talks about matches up a fair bit with how I remember things happening, but he's a fair bit older than me I'm sure cause while he was smoking ganja with some elders up on a mountain, I was smoking with my riff raff buddies in the back corner of our school yard. Anyway, I'm gonna snatch up a couple of his, including his NL, and give it a try. All that history and experience has to count for something in his genetics.

So very nice haul off the 2 plants, do you think you could have squeezed another in your room, comfortably? I'm watching full room/single grows vs perpetuals, etc, etc, trying to figure out which way to go next. Continue with my perpetual and tighten in up, or back it of and try a single 9 plant run. Ah fk it, I'm just gonna get another light! Problem solved. ;)

Well I don't think you could go wrong trying his gear out, hell I'd like to try it out myself. Yeah this NL#5 was a great strain for my first store bought attempt. I'm very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone. I don't know about 3 plants that size in there. I think I could have squeezed another one in but it would have been cramped.

I'm getting ready to start flowering 9 of em in there a little later today. It's gonna be interesting to see how that turns out. I think they're already to big to attempt that many. If it gets to crowed I may just split it up between the two rooms. Or I'll just give the 4 longer flowering plants I have in there to a needy friend. Either way it's a win win.

hey bro If you posted this I'm sorry I missed it. Your pics are so huge , and those buds are even huger, so it's hard to find the info at this time.
That and I'm dialing in my new vaporizer.
I was wondering if you get some time this weekend furing your maintence to measure out your girls and also the diameter and ht of your airpots if you dont mind.
I have it on their website, but their info doesn't match what I measure my #1s to be. I'm trying to order some more sizes for my mother plants not sure which ones I'll want to use first. Thanks bro
And PS. I wasn't teasing about my last posts. If you ever need a hand I got your back. I have weekends free until my room is back in the works.=)
