If you run Vista or 7 you can just use the Snipping Tool.I don't know how to take a screen shot.
Start Menu.....All Programs......Accessories
Select the part of the screen you want. Save it to wherever then upload whenever needed. Quicker than cropping, especially if you mount the Snipping Tool into the taskbar.
I had the same thing on Thursday night. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling, like, man - I've got lots of friends !
Now this is fame, bitches!
