just to point out 2 flaws of your argument here....first...jimmy page leds guitarist purchased his mansion...not john bonham.

and there has been a lot lost in translation as it comes to the bible and other biblical writings...666 is not the number of satan or "the number of the beast" due to improper translation and illegible writings the 666 was giving because of the number 7 which represents the "holy one" and 6 being the opposite the "unholy one" 7 is meant to represent god because on the 7th day he rested and 6 representing man...then after time somehow people spun the 6 into 666 being the mark of the beast...where as after finding legible writings the number given to represent satan was 616...so even if they are putting 666 into music/videos/writings its irrelevant because it does not represent satan.

and on a side note...being a person that listens to black/death metal...most of these bands are not "satanists" as you refer to them.they are more conveying a message of anti-organized religion...take slayer for instance...they are putting a image out there..not trying to convince people to worship satan.they are putting their music out that represents what isnt soft,happy,colorful which no matter how much the bible thumpers want to push thats what life is...follow god and everything will fall into place and be happy and cheerful...which isnt the case.you can be dark and speak of things that "the sheep" will call evil and satanist...which its just showing that not everything in life is happy and gleeful.most of the bands out there that are labeled as satanist bands are far from being true satanist...except for some of those Norwegian death metal bands that are out there...there are a few true satanist bands..but most of them suck because thats the only message in their music

so do i think they are putting messages in our music...no. there are enough fucked up people roaming this earth that they dont need to hide shit in our music to lead us to do evil things...if you dont believe me look at guys like jim jones...what "satanic" messages was he hearing in his gospel music right before convinced thousands to kill themselves?
