thanks hippy, it's good to know you're still lurking around here! the top colas feel pretty dense, and the side ones are fluffy and light. my guess right now is about 22g on the blue cream and about 18g on the amnesia (but she might puff up a little in the next couple days, who knows). either way, looks like it'll be over a zip in total, just hoping the p.m. didn't get to the heart of the buds, that would be a sad ending...

thanks kmk! and thanks for the well wishes about the p.m. i took a quick look this morning when i gave them their (probably) last feeding, and didn't see much PM, so that's a good sign. i did kinda fry them yesterday though (it got to 99deg in the box, so maybe that helped keep the PM away). anyway, for sure we should all meet up. like i said, there's three events going on in the bay area, and i'll almost for sure be going to the first and third ones:

ah, i get it now, makes more sense . never heard the ssh thing. i as so happy with the amnesia i sampled before, it was sweet and energetic and very euphoric. i'll probably post reports at various stages of curing!

hells yeah!! one more light cycle to go before these babies go into darkness, and then chop sunday night (it might be on the late side)!


still gotta figure out the air/ventilation for darkness period. normally i guess you'd want a medium level of humidity, but given the PM issue, i'm gonna try to keep it on the dry side, so i'll probably crack the box door open. can't wait!!!

thanks for the tip stoneyluv, i take all your advice very seriously! what would you say the ideal temperature range would be? (not sure how much control i'll have over it, but always good to know what i would wanna shoot for). the first day of darkness i will be around to monitor temp and rh, but the next two days i'm out of town, so i'll be hoping for the best!

Not everyone that grows has the space for an HPS setup. Plus some people like to grow but have to have a stealthy setup in a micro based grow so HPS really isn't viable here. CFL's work great for small bushy plants and provide a nice yield for the personal smoke grower.

His buds look dang bro and at the end of the harvest he will be enjoying the fruits of his labor CFL's or not

I think it would be better if instead of using a cardboard box, you used a commercial grow room. And...

This is like looking at a haiku and saying: "it would have been better if it were a sonnet".

IMHO, this grow is an outstanding example of a very particular sort of DIY grow. If you are going to criticize it, do it on its own terms. Sigh. OK. Sorry.

Man, a lot of good shit going on...I wish you lived down here, and you were my neighbor, and we could grow giant outdoor buds that reach over each other's fence..I'm stoned and silly, haha, just giddy cause vegas is coming up I think. Keep it up, wish you could start another grow right after this one

The plants are gonn a have to fend for themselves while I'm gone, only gonna be in vegas for 4 nights, so a good watering and rez change monday morning before I leave, and I'm hoping they're all good till friday afternoon. I mean, as long as the DWC plants stop growing soon, cause I don't wanna come home to plants burned, but I'm thinking the seedlings in party cups should be good for a few days, at least I'm hoping...Watered Monday morning, gone tuesday wednesday thursday...Watered Friday evening...yeah, that should be fine!

As long as your temps are good and you give a good watering you should be alright. I had the luxury of a buddy stopping by 2 times during my last trip so that eased my mind.
