Hey stillgamble, thanks for the tip, I have been spraying them with Neem oil but I may opt for that fogger option. The last thing I want is to be dealing with them 6 weeks from now..... I really wish I would have dunked them in miticide in the beginning but I wasn't that smart..... I'm thinking I should do it during the dark cycle....

Well the girls got an extra 4 hours of sleep today.....for some reason when the timer kicked on, it blew the GFI circuit..... Not sure why, it's always fired up just fine.... The crazy thing is that I was planning on being gone for 2 days but my plans changed at the last minute..... Man just when you think things are on cruise control..... Now I have 1 more thing to worry about.....

Well the girls looks good overall and are stretching pretty quick now.... I was gone for almost 2 days and the ppm crept back up to 1300. These leaves came from the bottom of the plants and were not like that on Friday when I sprayed them with Neem oil as I cleaned out all the crappy looking stuff then. I'm assuming it's Nute burn, what do you guys think?

Well things are looking pretty good, I think..... The girls are drinking more water than nutes...ppms keep rising and they don't seem to like it above 1200ppm as they start to show signs of nute burn and over fert... leaf tips pointing down..... They are about 20" tall now, except for one..... It hasn't really stretched at all and it only 12" tall, can't seem to figure out why, no visible root or stem rot and it seems healthy, just not stretching....It is the one in the first picture.... What do you guys think?

Well after some welcome advice from CG, I decided to thin these bushy little girls.... It really gave me a chance to get up close and personal with each plant. What I am most happy about is that I didn't find any evidence of the spider mites that I have been spraying for! The Neem oil seems to have done the trick. I inspected every leaf that I removed and only saw 1 spot that I thought could be a mite...
I just recieved my order of Doktor Doom fogger so I may still do one treatment with it just to be sure the little boogers are gone for good!

Hey man , Long time no post. I know how shit can get busy!! How are the girls?

Looked at a few pics , noticed some leaf tip curl. Did you ever figure out a solution to why this was maybe happening. Pushing them too hard with nute? Too much (N).

Can't wait for an update.

Warmest Regards

Ok here are the pics the day I last promised to update! I have been adding water and ice to keep the PPM below 1200 as I seem to get leaf tips curling down whenever it gets over 1200. The PH is running around 5.8 and has slowly kreeped up to 6.0 The water temp keep climbing into the 80's so that is when I add ice instead of water. The room temp has also been high lately, with the average running probably 86 when the lights are on. I need to get a new oscillating fan as my quit oscillating.....The humidity is running about 25% now and I am not adding humidity anymore.

Check out the crazy HUGE Fan leaves that one of the plants kicked out over the last week! I wonder what caused it to do that? The buds are really starting to fill in and the leaves around the buds are all covered in sticky white crystals. My camera won't zoom in enough to get a real good look at them.
I think the shortest plant may actually kick out the most weight! Look at all the bud sites!

Have you tried bringing your PH down a little more than 5.8 since it keeps jumping up? Im no super grower or anything but my guess is that since your PH continues to rise so much thats the cause of the nutes not being taken up. Try lowering your PH just a tad so you get a better overall PH and see if that helps the plants eat better

They are definitely drinking nutes as I have to add water almost every day to keep the PPM below 1200. From everything I've read and charts I've seen it's a good thing for the PH to fluxuate because different nutes are absorbed by the plants depending on the PH. If you keep it at 5.5 there are nutes that will not be absorbed and the same goes for letting it get to 6.5. In hydro it seems like 5.8 to 6.0 is the best compromise as all of the nutes the plants use can be absorbed to some extent. Now I'm obviously no expert, just repeating what I've read and observed in my plants. One thing that I learned early on in this grow is that I needed to double the recommended level of CalMag (Called CalMagic in the Technaflora nutes I'm using). Once I started doubling what was called for in the recipe, all the magnesium deficiency problems I was having went away and the plants became green and happy!
