Buds Overnight

A lot of people on this forum seem to think its preposterous to have hung dry buds overnight. But im fairly sure i achieved this. Didn't water the day i picked, let the soil dry out a bit, then hung up on a rack with a house fan on low blowing on and around it and a blanket over it to block light. A little over 24 hours later outside of the bud is dry and the stem bends but doesn't break, which says that its ready for cure. Anyone want to dispute or raise an issue with this? It seems to be working well, about to burp my cure jar for the first time, any problems or icky mold ill post it.

Be sure and post when it molds...1 day dry is not nearly enough unless you've got fluff....

there are other things going on with the bud during the drying process. read up on chlorophyll, in a week you will posting why does it smell like hay or grass

well it is pretty fluffy... and also chlorophyll evaporates and dissipates throughout the drying and curing processs...

Quick drying traps chlorophylls and other pigments, starch and nitrates within plant tissue, making it taste “green” burn unevenly and taste bad.

This is the toughest part of the grow, IMO...You've already spent sooo much time & effort caring for your plants, & now that they're ready to be harvested, all you can think of is "how fast can I chop 'em & smoke 'em...The look SOOO tasty....".But I promise....everyone that tells you to dry & cure slow is telling you the absolute truth!! Just look at the harvest, drying & curing stage as the last leg of the race, 99% of your previous efforts will be wasted if you don't finish the final steps.....

if your buds have dryed over night i can guarntee you you either chopped to early and all you have is fluff
it takes me approx 48 hrs to half dry the bud sure it looks dry but will stem break no, i then place my buds in a plastic bag blowing air out of it for 6 - 8 hrs then back on screens for 12 hrs then in bag for 4 hrs then screens and so on till its done
