RedEye's Closet Grow

I may have an issue in the near future concerning my lady. I just noticed water leaking in my bathroom coming from one of the apartments above me . As a result, the maintenance workers will have to come in to tear out that section and patch it. My water heater and shutoff valves are in the same closet as the grow, but I don't think they will need to be shutting mine off for any reason. I'm just worried that one of them will wander in my closet for some reason and spot it. Yikes! Let's hope for the best.

i had to deal with a similar issue. my water heater died and it was right next to my operation. at the time my installation wasn't mobile. my buddy helped me tear it down while i stashed plants in my bedroom. maintenance people won't go in your bedroom unless its absolutely required. take advantage of that. put them in closets, behind furniture, etc. make the room a mess so its hard to even get in there if they try.

Day 58 update:
Hello RIU! I'm back for another weekend update of my little lady.
She's doing better than ever. I stopped measuring the height at this point, but I would guess somewhere around 25", even after being tied down.
(lights were moved for pictures)


I have noticed a lot of trichomes showing up within the last few days.


And finally, the main cola..

It has reached the top of my growing space and I can't really tie it down anymore than what it already is. So I'm just going to let it grow up to the cardboard and hope that doesn't affect it negatively.

Yeah the guy living in the apartment above me works for them. He came by to fix it and didn't need to go in my closet for any reason. But I also found out that he smokes too, so I doubt it would have mattered anyway. haha.

This is something I notice with a lot of posted grows here on RIU and have a question about. Often I will see that for nutes during flowering period, a lot of people prefer to use FF's Big Bloom mixed with another supplement(usually also from FF). I'm assuming then that Big Bloom is just a micro nutrient solution.
My question is this..Could I get away with using just Big Bloom and molasses for the rest of my grow? Or is it suggested that I pick up a bottle of Tiger Bloom or something of the likes?
She seems to be doing great without anything else, so I wasn't sure if it's completely necessary or not.

Nice grow sir ill be watching your grow, lots of people swear by "fox farm" "brand x" etc etc. Im sure some are better suited with the right ratio/amounts of the right stuff but really anything that is nitrogen rich will help. I usually just use whatever flower bloom/stuff i can find.

So would you get a little better buds using better nutes, Absolutely. Is it necessary to make some diggity dank, Nope just use what you have and show the plants some love

Bad news..I think my plant went hermie. Not positive yet but on some lower nodes I can see what looks like a little pocket of pollen. I guess that's what happens when you use some bag seed. I'll update again as soon as possible, but I will be out for a couple days. Getting a couple wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow.

not trying to be a dick, but i dont think the strain has anything to do with it being a herm. do you have light traps over your fans? could be because of light leaks or temp problems..??

That's understandable lee, it's very possible that I could have caused it, but I wouldn't like to think there were any light leaks. The setup is in the back of my huge closet, covered in plenty of Panda film to prevent light leaks. The closet door also remains shut throughout the entire dark period with very little, if any, light coming through the cracks. If for some reason I do need to open the door, I make sure to turn off all lights in surrounding rooms, and only use my green flashlight. As far as temps go, I never really had much of an issue there. The hottest it has gotten was 86 degrees.

Yeah it's going to be a damn shame if it really is one, 2 months of work for a hermie. But I picked off the few little "sacs" that I noticed yesterday. Guess I'll wait and see if any new ones grow back..I sure hope not!
