Yield Estimate

I know this is a hard question to answer but what do you guys guess will be the yield for this grow

details...
400W HPS
Nirvana shop White Widow
always pH'd water to 6.4-6.7pH
fox farms nutes trio: grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom (haven't seen burn except for after 1 watering)
veg'd for like 5-6 weeks on 19/5
started flowering at like 8" tall (they were small at week 5 or 6 because of a bad transplant)
Halfway through the third week of flowering (now) and they're like 16" tall

Any guesses? This is my first sucessful grow so I'm just wondering(I had one before but I as just a newb and didn't pH or nute and just did a bunch of shit wrong so they died around week 3)

The girls...

Not trying to get your hopes up, but many white widow strains have a 400-500gs/m2. What this means, is roughly for every feet of height, assuming it's growing in a 1 foot area up. It'll give you 400-500grams of product. So if you have two plants equating to 2 feet in height a piece From the sounds of it, you'll be pretty lucky to hit that since you've already doubled in height, and can only hope for at best another 8" you'd have 66.66% of 400-500gs/m2 assuming the worst. Lets keep things simple and use 400g's for our variable A, and use 65% for variable B. Fresh yield will be variable C, and then to further complicate things and give you a ballpark estimate of yield, you reduce that number by 75% which is equal to Y. X is your dry yield amount, and the most you can hope for in smoke able bud. Now lets do this math equation shall we?

a * b = c * y = x
400 * 65% = c * y = x
400 * .65 = 260 * 25% = x
400 * 65 = 260 * .25 = 65

An ounce is equal to roughly 29 grams. 65/29 = 2.2 ounces final yield. This is assuming they're going off FRESH yield and not DRY yield. If they're going with Dry yield, then skip the second half the equation.

260/29= 9 oz~

This is most likely done in a hydroponic grow system by expert growers who have been doing this for many years. People who have grown the strain over and over knowing exactly what nutrients it needs. So assume 4-7 oz if it's going off dry yield.

I also assumed that the plant was only growing in 1 foot square area, it could grow in an area of 1.5-2 so you'd have to adjust yields on both by adjusting the feet variable. So instead of 4 x 1 you'd have 4 x 1.5 or 4 x 2.

Also, how do you veg a plant for 6 weeks, and only get 8 inch's? That's beyond me.

P.S. : I'm on my first grow, and have nothing but book knowledge currently.

What a bunch of crap. The 400-500g per m2(meter squared)or roughly 3ft x 3ft. Has nothing to do with the height of the plant. My guess would be around an ounce each.....

Why do they even put that there? A squared area is just a floor. So they're saying it's not going to grow tall? Well that makes me throw anything based on the m2 = crap. Thanks for pointing that out. Guess that's a way of whoever bred the seeds saying "Good luck, this should improve marketing"

i'm growing white widow... vegged for 2-3 months, hoping i will get a rewarding yield off this, in 3rd week flowering now.. upgrading to a 600w hps tomorrow. anyone know the chances of getting a few hundred g. at the end with a 4 foot white widow with another two about 11" tall?
