Chapter unknown: The ripenening!
Ok folks just popping in real quick to update as ya may already know harvest the 6 kush's they were going to go to the hash pile but ended up molding... ;( just was too busy to dry them properly
But on the good side I have still be able to tend to the some kinda diesel pretty well.
Last week:
and this week:
Wow the buds look nice and ripe but I am still hoping to hold off the harvest until the 1st because at this moment I have no place to dry it but will then... that and the trich's are primarily milky but as she is a sativa dominant strain I don't typically wait for brown trichs as with sativa's in my experience IF they will develop brown trichomes (some sativa's won't) it is not necessarily the most optimal time of harvest.
it's a friggin ***** to take a picture through my radio shack microscope but trust me... they are cloudy heads with clear bases.
Ok folks coming close to harvest time and I am noticing a severe issue... this lady is entirely organic and I think I misdid the organically fortified soil... from the looks of her the nitrogen values are still incredibly too high I didn't plan to flush her but I am seriously considering it as nitrogen I have find to sometime mess with the peak flavors and it is one of the only nutrients I know of you can flush readily... but on the other side of the coin I need to reveg her so the excess nitrogen would be handy... hrm... any thoughts?
And now 1 last thing... more bud porn.
p.s. the buds are definately putting on the "last lap swell" but the disadvantage of this is normally the growth during this stage is quick and easily noticable but nowhere near as dense. I call the last lap swell the last few weeks before harvest, if your window is correct and you don't early harvest during those three weeks the buds swell like a rose bud opening.
