Nice one Frenchy. Do you use CFLs all the way? if so what yields are you getting? I am very interested in the short length of time they take to grow and the small space i can put them in if CFL only??

yeah man, this is my first grow soooooooo..... no idea on yield lol. the plant is really short at ony 7" but will hopefully get a bit bigger as there is still about 7-8 weeks left on it lol. but clf's all the way as i cant afford anything more.

thats my reasoning. I have the HPS but 600w drains the energy in UK it costs loads (im on a key meter and its BAD). The results were nice, but I've been doing it over winter and it is impossible to get decent yield without haviing heaters etc. which will cost even more.

I love the look of those PC grows, but i fear it will be a waste of time coz I will smoke the harvest b4 it even drys properly.

I was also interested in AF strains outdoor in UK. Apparantely Purple Jems is a quality strain which is AF and will handle outdoor UK from about May onwards. Thing is at £45 for 5 seeds its pricey.

Can you clone AFs???

no cloning AF's as they bud by age, not light, so if you take acutting from the plant before it flowers, the cloan will go stright into flower and will be pointless, i live in the north and found a nice place to gorilla grow possibly next year heat isnt a problem for me as i have a lot of reptiles so plenty of heat mats lol

Couple of years back. 27.5 grams. Nice body stone. Currently have 5 G13 labs Poison Dwarf autoflower seeds that I haven't started yet. Anyone hit this one up?

nice in regards to the type of high you get, isnt it early harvest for a head high, and later harvest for a body high? and right in the middle for an equal body/head high?

KuLong,, Sorry, but I'm going to say something here that is definately not AF related,, or even my place to say so,,,, but going to anyways.

To nobody in particular -
If you enter competitions like this simply to win, brag, cause trouble, you're missing big time.
These should be fun. Exchanging ideas, suporting others in trying new things, helping, encouraging and possibly making long term internet friends. Sometimes they get siderailed. When something disruptive, hateful, happens,,,, just ignor it. Simply don't give it any time of your life in rebuttle. Anyone with half a brain would prefer a good time vastly over a hard time anyways. If your getting burned in a fire,, you wouldn't pour gasoline on it would you?
I just finished up a comp and I think everyone had a pretty good time, learned some, and I know I've made some good friends doing it. One of the things I stressed was, "Enjoy the journey, because the end is the same. Win, loose, or draw, it's anti-climatic at best."
Ramrodding and staying on top of something like this is a very big chore at times. Help the guy out and try to make it enjoyable for all.
The real prize to these things is not at the end.

I have seen you post this a few times and I have to respectively disagree because there is a big payout in the end.

The Cage will eventually be an Autoflower reference place where people can go and get real, valid answers to their questions. Our contenders are the myth-busters of Autoflowers. Our contenders are the warriors in the front lines of the Autoflower movement. Our contenders are the teachers of many generations to come.

My only hope is that all that enter The Cage realize how important their role is...

Surprising coming from someone like you...

Surprising because you Canon are:
1. A great teacher because you have hands-on experience with Autoflowers.
2. Helping new growers by giving advice and by showing what can or cannot be done with Autoflowers.
3. Having busted a myth or two with your first Autoflower grow and documented it.

I, as a contestant, feel like I am doing something instead of just talking and knowing that people many years from now will find this thread and benefit from it. I cannot control if this is not fulfilling for some, but it is fulfilling for me and is why I created The Cage.

I know what you're saying and know a few others do also.
I'm talking from a different perspective or point of view.
I doubt many jumped in for prosperity.
Most came for a good time, learning and sharing.
Others,, all they see is the win,,, at any cost.
They miss the pleasure of the ride with sole focus on the win.

What you're speaking of is a different level of why we enjoy what we do.
... and because I recognize that in you,, IS why I'm interested in seeing this foster that difference. But starting at the beginning is how one embraces the finer points of all this.
A true guitarist that plays with heart, feeling, and sole.... first needs to learn the mechanics of the instrument (sorta thing).

Perhaps not so much disagreement,, maybe more of expectations of others??? (that don't sound right either!)
I know what I'm meaning... just the communication skills suck for me.

Can I still post pics of my first ever auto plant even tho I can't enter? This threads for information purposes right? I tried a little LST on her to hopefully see a difference in quantity come harvest, we shall see.

...so was that a no? I know theres been a little bickering and girly fighting going on in here and it may have been overlooked, just wondering. I see you have another Il Diavolo being grown naturally I would like to compare mine (LST'd) with his, and let others do the same. It think we may also be around the same week. I just like what you're trying to do here KuLong, inform others even though some people are making that extremley difficult for you, so I would like to give my contribution if possible.
