this is my 1st grow and i was wondering why the hairs on the bottom of my girl are turning red or brown, all most looking like if their burned. i have 2 purple diesel girls, 4 weeks flowering, in feeding them Pure Blend Pro Bloom, Hydropelx Bloom maximizer and Aqua Shield. 1 is in a 3 gallon pot and the other in a 1 gallon. feeding 3 gallon every 4 days and 1 gallon every 3 days. i have them under a 400 watt hps and 2 fans. 1 is above and the other is on the side of them.

pistils do turn brown but thats not what is happening there, they are drying up and i would say you were having some root issues, try to use 15l pots for all your grows in future, some plants get very big root systems. what amounts of bloom nutes are you using per litre and what is the npk of the nutes. stunted growth is also another main problem of rotbound plants, you cant repot now just make sure they get watered when they need it and be careful witht he nutes.

in pick 9 u can see a healthy brown pistil. still has fluid in it.

the pure blend pro bloom is n-p-k 1-4-5. im using 25ml per gallon, aqua shield 15 ml per gallon and hydroplex bloom 5ml per gallon.... i feed them 3-4 days and 3 g gets 3/4 of a gallon of nutes and 1 g get 1 quart of nutes... i drain the drip pan when watering also... is that good or bad.... how much water is recommend for a 3 gallon pot and a 1 gallon pot?

the only nutes you are abit heavy on is the bloom, that would be better at 20ml gallon, aqua shield is fine and the hydroplex is a bloom stimulator. i use bloombastic but i wait until the buds have formed a good bit b4 using that stuff, just to give them a boost in the last few weeks. you dont have much of a problem but if you do start running into problems then first call i would have thought would be the 1 gallon pot. i only use that for the plants in veg up until week 4. then they go in 15 litre pots. your 3 gallon may be a bit tight aswell for some plants.
dont make any big changes now, the plants are healthy and the leaves are a nice green.
when you are watering only give the nutes every second watering, the reccomended schedule for those nutes is 25ml per week, you at the minute are giving them twice that if you feed them every three to four days, also make sure the pots are light before watering. i never water the size of the pot but a lot of guys on here do with good results but its just horses for courses.
and remember i am only advising you what i think, its not gospel. at the end of the day you have to take in what people say and make your own judgement. as said before you dont have any major issues at the minute so dont make any major changes.
i really hope you have no more issues and your yield is a success.
good luck with it.

i was thinking the same with the nutes, i will feed only every 2nd watering, i think i have 5 weeks left. these last weeks i will be lowering the nutes from this week 4th- 25ml to week 5th-20ml to week 6th-15ml to week 7th-10ml then week 8th-5ml, then flush for my final 9th week.. thank you for the help on here.
