question about feeding!

i was wondering, is it possible for a plant to develop a deficiency if the amount of feed you give it has the correct amount of nutes in it but isn't enough to feed the whole root system?

the reason i ask is i've realised i might not be giving my plant enough each time i feed and seems to have a deficiency. how many litres of water/feed should a 60 litre pot roughly need?

each time i feed and seems to have a deficiency...........

not sure quite what that means? U should be watering "through" when u do water, meaning, u should water until it comes out the bottom everytime.

about 60 liters or so i'd figure....give or take

what kind of container is it out of curiosity...an old wine barrel or something like that?

its one of them plastic ones. what gets me is why the root system is so big, and its still due a bigger pot!

no worries, i'll guess i have a deficiency then :( cant see why as i've used these nutes for a couple of years with no problems!

pics would help to determine what may be going, its all guessing without a pic!.... on are you sure its a nute def??? whats your npk and how much are you mixing/feed do you ever just feed just ph'd water , no nutes?

I feed like I water, till there is decent run off. You want all the medium saturated.

For a 60L container? IDK, 15-20L? It takes about 1 1/2-2 gallons to fully saturate my 5 gallon pots or, about 1/3 of the total volume.

Will get some pics up now, am feeding biobloom and topmax and then adjusting the PH of the feed. with biobloom im feeding about 3ml/litre and topmax its 4ml/litre. i fed with just PH'ed water a couple of weeks back and am now in weed 3 flowering. ph runoff is fine too and if it is a deficiency i dont understand why as i've never had problems with def. give me a minute to put them up!

Nitrogen def ....with mag/cal def... your nutes have no nitrogen in them? probably low on mg/cal too ! does any of your nutes have N .... also mg/cal?

They look hungry;-)

have just started to add my hesi nutes to them (used in vegging) not sure on the levels of them all but will check them out. they all have nitrogen in but maybe not enough. you sure its a nitrogen deficiency as its affecting the top?

could you have a ph problem instead ????
Another valid point....improper levels of ph can cause lockout of other nutes so no matter how much you feed it will not look like enuff!

Ph balance is very important for nutrient uptake...also you say they are at correct Ph level..what are the numbers? lol

hesi is 3-2-3, biobloom is 2-6-3.5 and topmax is 0.1 0.1 0.1.

is it a good idea to start using the hesi with them?

well...biobloom+topmax does not look like enough(for flowering)..is this all you should be using ,or is there something missing?
what hesi is the one you have (3-2-3) gro? just trying to find it...ha not familiar with those products but im looking for them , to try to help and see if there is something missing here in you nutes.

hesi tnt complex. i've used biobloom and topmax in flowering before and its done the job for me

So different strain this time or are you doing something different this time? different med? environment or something...

so those are all you need..biobloom+topmax for flowering?

went from lemon skunk to white widow. think thats the only change really. just biobloom and topmax! i had a problem here and there in veg before put then it got to flowering and all was okay. this time round i had problems and stopped feeding hesi and flushed. then i wanted to flower so had no chance to feed much veg nutes. could possibly be the reason, i dont know!
