Adding flavor?

Someone told me there are flavors that can be adding into the nutrients to change the taste of the herb. Anyone know about this? I thought it was dependent on the strain.

not true at all. add some pineapple mango nectar to your water the last two weeks & see what happens. flavors the shit out of it. I sold mexi schwag bagseed that i finished this way as pineapple kush to get my real set up and ppl were stoked on it. i just laughed.

now a purist will come on & say that juice just detracted from the natural flavor of the herb, to which I reply, Good! the natural flavor of that weed otherwise tasted like black pepper. yuck. i wouldn't do it to somethin that tasted good naturally though.

it's most effective in DWC in conjunction with a chelating enzyme such as Hygrozyme. but fuck yes it works. but it can also work against you which is why you don't wanna use fish extracts in the end of flowering cuz your bud will have a fishy taste & smell.

LOL.. if you wanna follow this fool and add some shit to your plants go ahead by all means do... probably is better 2 piss on tha plants than add fake flavors.

yeah it wasn't real ethical, but i was a junkie at the time.

that notwithstanding, this does work. I only lie to my friends. :)

and for the record, it was the ppl buyin it that called it that. I just let em do so unabated. it tasted like pineapple; it was covered in crystals; it got ya super high. I didn't fuck anybody over cuz it was an indica dominant, gnarly mexi; just not a name brand one. whoop di doo....

I never flavored weed like that. But I have stuck a lemon peel in while curing a few times. That adds a little
flavor and smell. It also works if you have a bag of dry-ass schwag. I threw a lime peel in there once, it wasn't
as good as the lemon peel as far as smell and taste, but it wasn't dry and brittle anymore nor smelled like a mix
of hay and ass.

I might try the method you mentioned. If you can add molasses, pineapple mango nectar probably couldn't hurt
either.

I don't know about the pineapple stuff, but I have heard that using molasses will add a bit of a sweet taste. Could be just bunk tho. I have been using molases along with the Root Organics line of fertilizers. The final product tastes pretty damn good but I haven't tried one without to compare it with.

I've gotten some weed from time that tastes and smells like bananas. I always wondered how they did that.
One person said it was the potassium in the nutes. I don't believe that.

any fruit juice will work. I had a bunch of that pine mango nectar cuz my sugar gliders love it, so i tried it & it worked. don't take my word for it though; prove me wrong.... without lying!

Some stuff wont just work though. There are many tried and proven methods for growing.
As for the fruit flavoring, I don't see why it wouldn't work. But you just can't add some diesel
to your nute mix while growing some regular schwag, and end up with NYCD. Of course that
wont work. (I'm sure some dumbass has tried at least something similar) But the little tricks
people try here and there, we will never know if it works until someone actually tries it. Except
most people rather sit back and talk crazy to those that talk about trying it, but when one of
those things actually works, those dummies will be the first ones to do it themselves. I give a lot
of credit to those that experiment. Without people experimenting, we would not have sog, or scrog,
or even indoor growing period. Someone had to try it first.
