Wonder Woman: Root ball
She was transplanted from #1 smart pot on Feb 19th. I think I am going to try drilling some bigger 1" holes on the bottom for drainage and put a double layer of mesh on the bottom also, instead of just a bunch of 3/8" holes like I have now.
I am eager to see the root ball from the Wembley that has been in the #3 smart pot. I am sure they are more effective than my air-pails but they are a pain to spin/move around under my lights or when picking them up to move them to the rain station. I may have to deal with that inconvenience though as I really like how quickly they dry out between rain/feed and how well they prune the roots.
Sugar Black Rose: 14 Days 12/12
These #5 smart pots dry much slower than the #3. It looks like I wont be able to MIR/Feed in 2 separate waterings each week so I am going to employ another variation of the MIR technique. She got 3ga of RO water followed by 1ga of Nutes/Ferts + 9Tbsp of Oregonism in the last 1.25ga. She also got pruned today.
Before pruning
Nute Soup
Pruned
The 3 super-cropped branches are healing up nicely.
Veg box with Auto removed.
Lights out for the flower tent, after their new roomie got moved into the back. I pulled out one floor fan and moved the remaining fans to the front corners near the 400mh so I could fit more of the plants in back under the 600hps while the Wembley and Auto finish flowering.
