back in the day, and that day was back in 70's, you'd run across some very special mexican bagweed(pretty much only kind of weed then)
extremely nice and soothing, what i wouldn't give for some of that bagweed now(especially the seeds)
names were thrown around, who knows what you were getting? but from some Oaxacan descriptions, i'd say the chances were good
i see nirvana has that strain eldorado which is an Oaxacan cross? but like you say, so many strains
if i thought i could get that old mexican feeling again, i'd buy those in a second
I do miss those commercial weeds from earlier times.
And the prices...
I went back to Mexico in 2005, a little east of Oaxaca. Most of the weed there is the same commercial crap that you'll find in the US,
brown, seeds, more of a headache feeling than an actual high. But if you could get to know some of the older smokers, they had some
nice bright green weed, little to no seeds, and a great head high that will last hours. There were no name brands, they just called all
weed
mota.
They say Eldorodo is sativa, but doesn't say pure sativa. But it doesn't say it's not either. I may email Nirvana and see what they say.
If it is a pure sativa, and has the same quality as the green stuff I had in Mexico, I will order those seeds the same day.
Barney's Farm has Acapulco Gold. Not sure how close it is to the actual AG, but it must be a good smoke, it placed 2nd in the Cananbis
Cup 2010, something like that.....
