i was nervous the first time i did it too, but so long as you don't break it completely off, nothing major will happen to it.. imo, its kind of hard to screw up a supercrop, its kind of like screwing up a fim, impossible as fim is nothing but a screw up to begin with..

anyhoos, i'd wait till she got outside to do any sc to it, but at that point, i don't really know if you'd need to tbh, as the main reason that i do it is to keep them shorter and all at an even canopy.. being outdoors, there really isn't much need to keep them short, unless of course you're trying to hide them or something along those lines, in which sc would be perfect for say keeping it at the height of say a fence or what have you.. other than that, i'd just let them go au natural outdoors..
