i have never bought an apple product. i don't even have quicktime on my computer.
LOL. Yeah I just have to tell guests which network to use since you can see all my neighbors networks etc. and then the password.. super easy.I totally agree. I had close to the same set up once and I will tell you. There is no way to do that with a PC without a crew of nerds and a few guys from MIT. A regular joe could spend a couple hours networking their house with for Vid/Music. My Mac is my entertainment center. I love how everything is plug and play. One thing that makes me laugh is evey single time my friends come over to my house with thier Windows laptops it takes them forever to get on my network wirelessly. I on the other hand can jump on any network within a few clicks, if not none. It never fails
iPad does serve a purpose and there is a market for it. If there was not it wouldn't be successful. People don't buy a product at that level just because Jobs told them to LOL! Being a medical student the iPad has turned my 100 lbs book bag into a 2 lb. folder.they have wireless speakers now... i think ipads are SO stupid... only apple can come out with an iphone and sell millions, then come out with a mini iphone, and a large iphone, and make billions... it's all in the marketing. i had an iphone, realized how boring it was (yes i had it jailbroken), i didnt even have a data plan, id rather pay the extra 15 dollars for a month an android then keep my free iphone...
i do see what you mean, but at this point they are just so limited... id easily rather have my macbook pro over your ipad. it does all that and much more... and i guarantee you there are tons of ppl out there who buy apple products just because apple came out with it. Im psyched that there doing well, ive had stocks with them since they first came out.iPad does serve a purpose and there is a market for it. If there was not it wouldn't be successful. I do agree there is and has always been a cult following (it's what kept apple alive while jobs was exiled) and those types buy product because apple made them. But that a small fraction of the apple market. I also love my MBP abd use it most but my ipad has come in handy and has paid for it's self.i do see what you mean, but at this point they are just so limited... id easily rather have my macbook pro over your ipad. it does all that and much more... and i guarantee you there are tons of ppl out there who buy apple products just because apple came out with it. Next time PM me and I will send you a couple for free.PC all the way. I despise macs and anything apple anymore, everything is proprietary and overpriced. Macs use to be ahead in the multimedia market for CGI animation and the likes but I don't even know if that holds true anymore these days. Mac enthusiast are an interesting breed as they like to tell you how their mac can rasterize porn faster than a priest. If their systems were so fantastic they wouldn't be diving into all the peripheral markets. I mean seriously Ipod, Ipod nano, Ipod video, Ipod shuffle, Ipod gen 1-4321, Iphone, Ipad, etc. I had an Ipod years ago and when the data cable worked itself loose, I looked for a replacement and they wanted $30 for a replacement cable which is ridiculous.
apple makes money off of people like you. no offense. you can buy one off amazon for 1 dollar...PC all the way. I despise macs and anything apple anymore, everything is proprietary and overpriced. ipads are fantastic for what they were made for. I use mine every day, many times a day. You can say "well I can use my lap top to do more" yes but you cannot comfortably hold a laptop and flip though and navigate the internet while laying in bed watching tv, get up and walk downstairs and change to your remote and turn on some music, switch back to the internet and sit outside and read, you just can't do it. They are awesome, seriously. I understand peoples need to hate on stuff but that's all it is.they have wireless speakers now... i think ipads are SO stupid... only apple can come out with an iphone and sell millions, then come out with a mini iphone, and a large iphone, and make billions... it's all in the marketing. i had an iphone, realized how boring it was (yes i had it jailbroken), i didnt even have a data plan, id rather pay the extra 15 dollars for a month an android then keep my free iphone...
Oh I should say. You can do all the same stuff with an iphone or a ipod touch. It's just cooler and more fun on the larger screen. But if you don't think an ipad is worth it you could always do it with one of the other devices.lol that shit you were saying with the i pad and being able to use it to turn the volume up and down in each room sounded pretty cool.I would still never buy one though.I had a jailbroke i pod touch for a little bit but I got bored of it quick so I sold it.
Your persistent overt hostility over this topic is downright comical.I would pick this apart but I have a life and a wife to get to.
Actually, Mac employs several design firms to create the ultimate ‘look’ of their products.and have you guys looked at the current mac wireless keyboards? so friggin sexy!! the keyboard being so thin has really helped with pain in the forearms, and with the end of the keyboard where the number pad would normally be chopped off you can sit in a more ergonomically correct position with the mouse pad close. Little details like this... no one would ever have thought computers could be sexy.. but a Mac sitting on desktop with that sexy aluminum case and matching super thin keyboard and magic mouse or super mouse w/e they're calling it these days... it actually looks sexy..
you sure tried to act like it was with your capitol letters other wise you wouldn't have brought it up.I never siad Newton was the first either. I siad Jobs didn't get the idea from Bill, as you just admitted. Case closed. As for you to try and claim iPad is not apples invention is so silly I will just leave it at that.
winds brought up the "newton" acting like steve/mac was the first to come out with the tablet/tablet idea, but there was already a ms-dos based tablet.who cares.. there were other mp3 playing devices. Apple takes an idea, refines it and takes it to the next level, then markets the crap out of it capturing majority of the market share... you guys wait.. this is just the beginning. Apple is using the success of the ipod and iphone.. now brought a product everyone thought was going to fail since others had in the past.. the ipad... it will dominate the tablet market, no one else will come close to competing with it. Apple will continue to keep the ball rolling with the success of each product as more and more people think about moving to mac. kinda sucks for us long time die hard apple fans... here come all the posers.. yay. Apple will never take over the market in full size computers, but I think we are all thinking way too small. Steve Jobs is so far ahead... I think he's trying to move us away from what we consider a typical computer. hopefully we'll be getting a fully touch sensitive tablet computer that you can draw on like the wacom tablets. It would be great for us artists. I know others have come out with touch sensitive computer screens but they are upright and clearly not comfortable to use... Apple will do it right... again.
