Well guy's i gotta give it up to all these housewives raising kids and taking care of the house.I'm a union worker and work steady my wife of eight years hasn't worked since we got married, she has her LPN's but we started a family and she has chosen to devote her time to the kid's while they are little.

Well i quit working for the company i have been with for the past 9 years to be closer to home and do less travelling so i could spend more time with my family cause really i was gone working about 9 months out of the year.So i decided to start working outta my union hall i am a boilermaker, well work isn't near as steady so my wife decided while i was home laid off she wanted to work and get outta the house a little.

i have two kids a boy and a girl Ages 5 and 2 and WOW!!!!!! are they a handful between chasing the two year-old pulling stuff outta her mouth, breaking up fight's cooking meal's doing laundry just all the Mr. mom stuff i am getting wore out more than i ever did working.

+++rep to all the housewives out there keeping their families goin. I thinking of going back to work soon...lol

Can anyone relate to this..

I feel ya too. Not only did I raise 5 kids, but I was injured in 2005( construction accident) and now stay at home and care for my 14 yr old dissabled son , and two grandaughters ages 4 and 14 months...sometimes my brain feels like stew by the end of the day. Good luck to ya, hope jods pick up soon in your area....construction is a joke here in Michigan, most of my bricklayer buddies are driving outta state for work. See ya

When I watch my 2 year old nephew for a day that's enough for me haha. He is great just so much energy and constant go go go! He doesn't know what rest is especially when he is with me. I don't get to see him as often as I'd like so when I do get to watch him then it's 100% playtime, no naps and hardly any time for food, I can't even imagine more than one at a time lol.

I am also currently unemployed and though I don't have kids yet I still feel like a housewife during the day. While my old lady goes to work to make the money I am cleaning up the house like I am a maid or something, not because I have to but because I am so bored! haha, I go crazy couped up in here all day. I make sure to have all the rooms cleaned and vacuumed, counters and tables wiped down, dishes done and even have dinner ready for her when she gets home. She thinks it is to help her out but truth is I wouldn't be doing as thorough (sp?) of a job if I had something to do haha. Once the sun actually decides to stay and play for the summer then I get to take my boredom outside, have plenty of ivy and blackberry bushes to fight and I am going to get a veggie garden started too. If a couple of marijuana plants happen to get in that garden then I'll have more stuff to work on while bored! haha

Be careful on that shit, i took it for 14 years, i've been off it 2 years now and still no baby , i'm kinda worried but everyone says it takes a few years to get out of my system,
oh well my cat just had a litter ,bitch lol, weird but i was envious when she gave birth, i sat and watched all 4 come out.

i've never wanted kids. i won't channge my opinion. kids are fun but i feel like it's more for the parents than it is for the kids. the world is pretty shitty. sorry to be negative... i am a pretty positive person in general.

Taking care of my 10 yr old boy is easy peasy..The house however is the hard shit.....I hate housework...The only job I really like is vacuuming LOL don't know why but I think it has to do with the fact it is in essence a power tool right?

Alot of people don't realize they want kids until they have them, they are now my most prized possession just the other day my 5 year old was up on the hill playing in the woods which i encourage, and i was going nut's with worry and he wasn't 60 yards away.At one point in time in my life i thought i woulda died for my country now i know this isn't the case i gotta live for my kids.

And hell yeah house work is hard as hell...lmao

I have to give you a lot of credit!!! Pat yourself on the back, Tristy & to all you men that r staying at home raising the kids. That makes you Great!
Im a woman, raising children & running the household is a huge job. Not to mention running a business at the same time. Craziness. But well worth it! My children think Im the coolest & that's my rewards! Plus all the love & sometimes respectI recieve, LOL. (teens forget... it's not always all about them.) So hang in there! The grow up way too fast enjoy them while they r young! +reps for a great daddy!
