Yes, that was my first flawless grow, one without any deficiencies, or other problems. It was probably my 10th or 12th grow though, not my first. The humidity in my veg room is always pretty stable around 40-45%, and while I agree that a little higher is nearer to perfect, it's not low enough to cause any problems. It also keep problems like powdery mildew, in check, practically a non-threat. That's one of the main reasons I never added a humidifier.

not sure what to do lol. one says to flush with water other says to just mist.
i've been keeping the soil moist by misting every couple of hours so far. i will get a bigger pot later on to transplant it into.

LOL, Don't worry, I'm as much a perfectionist, as anyone. It's just that I'm not allowed to touch the stuff anymore, and it kinda takes the fun out of it. If you were to tell me it would be an easy way to increase my yield, I'd probably drink it right up. Right now, I'm more interested in upping my lighting, then maybe I'll tweak the humidity, or do 'em both at the same time.

just transplanted it into fox farm ocean forest. it was in foxfarm light warrior. when i pulled the plant from the red cup it was in i could see all the roots were rootbound at the bottom. this new pot should give it more room to grow.

Why would you flush? All you need to do is get that soil wet so the roots have plenty to drink and the humidity can raise a little.
With low humidity under 60% you will have thinner leafs, here let me copy and paste ~
At very low humidity the leaves loose so much water that the xylem cannot completely replace the water losses, and thus plants can not maintain turgor in the plant cells. Then the cell walls are not pressed outwards, and the plant cells not stimulated to grow. Therefore a low humidity for a long period of time generally results in shorter plants and smaller leaf area.
Water for turgor
Another function of water is providing firmness to the plant cells by putting an outward pressure on the cell walls. This pressure and the firmness are called turgor. Turgid plant cells are pumped full with water and cannot be compressed, like a balloon filled with water. Plant cells that have lost a (small) part of their moisture, dont have this turgor and are floppy. This is the case when leaves suffer from water stress (actually drought stress would be a better name!).
In young cells, turgor stimulates the cells to expand and grow (older cells are not able to grow anymore). If young cells do not experience sufficient turgor pressure, they dont expand very much. Therefore leaves that have water stress for a longer period of time, so leaves with little turgor, usually stay smaller than leaves with normal turgor
I have been using FFOF for 3+ years now and I don't understand why people say it can burn your plants? I drop my seeds straight in with some perlite mixed in, never never a burn.

I should of said it can burn it if you add nutes during the first 3 weeks of using it. But soil alone is cool

When I first started growing the local hydro shop was pushing there Root Organic soil and nutes so I bought a bag of that and one FFOF. They started telling me that the ffof will burn my plants and such. I told them I would do a side by side. After just 30 days I knew FFOF was my choice. The RO soil was weak in veg and by the time I got in flower the RO soil had nothing to offer.
I'm so stoned I have no idea where I was going??? Just chatting I guess...

I think it will be alright. Went in to check on it today and looks like it started growing another set of leaves. Humidity is at 38%....

Is there anything I can do besides getting a humidifier? I go in every once in awhile and mist the soil+plant.

here is an update. the smaller one i transplanted seems to be doing alot better. the taller one is also doing good but now im seeing some spots on the white rhino's leaves.... what do you think is wrong?

If those are the lower leaves then I wouldn't worry about it, most likely from previous damage. As long as new growth looks good your all good. One of my ww's were burnt to the point where any normal person would have tossed it but I rode it out and now she is gaining her health back and having new new green lush growth.. patience is a virtue when growing lol

the one that looked the worst is growing nicely. i think the leaves got burnt but the top looks nice. how many nodes am i going to get from fimming it? it looks really crowed at the top where the new growth is lol.

if getting a humidifier isn't feasible for you at the moment, a good alternative would be to put a bowl of water in there with them. Or if you aint got room for a regular bowl cut the bottom out of a pop bottle or 2 litr bottle and put water in it and set it on top either the soil or something else that gets it up close to the plants/lights. As it evaporates it will bring the humidity up a touch.
