Check out this 20 day old beast. Grown under 20/4 CFLs. I am trying out a DWC/hempy hybrid method. I think it is working:-P

Paradise Pandora update day 67... Well I'm afraid to say it but Pandora is no true Auto. I went from 20/4 to 18/6 to 16/8 and now 12/12. She is about as far along in bud production as most autos at day 40.
The good news is she is beatiful and will yield some serious dank. The bad news I have to buy another tent cause this bitch...

I have to say that fruit auto is lookin pretty nice am currently growing a auto Hindu kush does anyone have any info on this Strain .....potency ...smell...yield ...I have my lady on a simple balcony grow

Hey everyone.

Great thread!!

Its my first post on RUI, so sorry if I F it up.

So, I'm about to start my first grow and I would apreciate some help.
I live in the sub arctic (200 km below the arctic circle but far above the arctic tree-line), and I will be doing an outside 1 m2 semi-stealthy soil-based greenhouse grow. To adjust for the lacking wavelenghts of sunlight in the arctic region I will be supplementing with som LED lights. As I see it, my only hope for success is an autoflower strain.

I have some Diesel Ryder seeds from Joint Doctor, some Chronic Ryder seeds from Joint Doctor and some Auto Blue from Seedsman.

Im not a big smoker, so I'm not necessarily looking for great yeild, just a little quality green to keep me happy every once in a while. I am a little worried about odor, however, and after reading the first 100 or so pages of this thread I'm beginning to think I may have chosen poorly regarding my seeds. I live an apartment with a nice big veranda, where I will be growing, but I have neighbors with windows and verandas neer by.

So here are my questions:

1. What autoflower strain produces the least odor? KolorBlind, you were trying to figure this out a few years back - did you ever find out? Are you still doing Diesel Ryders despite the odor? Does anyone else know or have any info?

2. Planting in a smaller pot will reduce plant size and yeild, but will it effect the quality of the end product? Are there other ways to reduce plant size without reducing quality?

dunno what strains smell the least but if you doing a balcony style grow maybe just try growing some other nice smelling plants/flowers (maybe jasmine or something similiar.. dunno how it would do in your climate...)

size/yield should NOT affect potency providing you keep the plant healthy, harvest at the correct time, dry and cure your bud properly.

Do you think I could go smaller than 1 gallon pots or would that be pushing it?

Good idea about the other odorant plants, maybe Ill throw in some herbs like basil or oregano. Maybe some jasmine. Should do ok with the LED supplement.

i've seen people grow full plants out of dixie cups (250ml)... he needed strings tied to it to keep it upright... but i think ended up with about 20g dry

healthy root systems = healthy plants. go as big as you can within reason.

i just wanna ask,maybe some of you have an experience in growing Royal Automatic ( from royal queen seeds),and how do they taste like.
I'm trying to grow 5 Royal Automatic's and just wanna know more about them,thanks.

Hey im looking to start my first auto grow and was in need of some strain recommendations. I will be growing outside and would like to grow two or three different strains. I am mainly concerned about the high. I would like two of the strains to be an uppy sativa dominant daytime high will the last a milder indica. I really like strains that make you laugh and put you in a good mood. I was thinking something along the lines of mi5 or onyx or auto assassin for the sativa and possibly Himalaya blue diesel for the third. Are there any better options than this? Thanks
