They are on day 39 of 12/12 with a 400 Watt MH/HPS

There are only 2 El Mons in there.
I have 12 colas that are 12 inches tall and 3 colas that are 18 inches tall.

Nice! I'm all for the DIY shiz. Every bit you can save helps a ton these days. Yea those colas are fn huge...knuks. The last few weeks I hear they go pretty apeshiz as far as actual bud growth. I'm on my 1st grow myself so I'm kinda researching the life cycle. Compare and contrast if you will I'll def. check back!

I was hoping one of them would be purple. I have a couple more seeds tho, so maybe I will get lucky with one.
Ya never know.
I have some Extrema seeds as well. I had one of them growing, but it was a male so I chopped it down and was left with the two El Mons. No Complaints! There's always next time for round two!!

Hoping they will pack on more size and weight over the next 2 weeks. They are 8-9 week flowering indicas.

When it comes to flushing.
I was planning to change the rez today and add nutes and then change again around 7 - 7 1/2 weeks using only pH'd water for the last week.
Is this accurate? First time DWC, still learning.
I know opinions will vary. Just wanna see what others do.

those are some beautiful girls you have there blu, could you not lower your temps at lights off to try an induce some purpling, sorry if someone has mentioned it an i missed it,i have lowered temps on a couple of ladys before some purp up more than others i found looks nice though, i am also doing dwc scrog as well, well its a diy version of undercurrent system scrogged but anyways plus rep on your ladies

I have read that lowering the temps would help with purpling, but I thought it was more of a pheno/genetic thing.
Although the El Monstre I have seen pics of was purple.

i have some blueberry that does change on its own an as far as i know your right the genetics do play a major part but i have done it to a couple of other strains that do not purp up, i have never grown el monstre so not sure of its colours i suppose if they do not purp up on there own you could help them with lower temp,still you have lovely bunch of ladies if they dont nice work

Changed the rez yesterday. Soaked the airstones in bleach water and scrubbed them clean. They work a whole lot better now.
Running nutes this week. pH'd water for the last week. Then 48 hours of darkness before chop.
