I just came across a lump sum of money and I have stopped smoking for the time being. I have a closet grow going on with 6 seedlings 1 flowering plant and 6 plants in germination. everything is going much prettier now that I don't have to climb chairs and tables in order to check on the plants. and they are getting a lot more light. I got them some nutrients and some normal pots.. the reflectors are a bunch of modeling pictures. I'm success now, may start a new thread in the future on new grow if I have time now that it's summer and I have money and women like me

You claimed that very same thing repeatedly in the past. Were you wrong when you claimed it in the past and are you sure you are correct in claiming it now? After your last debacle wouldn't it be smart of you to wait until you have a harvest to judge actual success or failure by?

But with all-due respect I wish things would've went better with the threads.
I have my respect growing with ceiling lights and miracle gro, 2 major no-nos on this site. but, I came out with more profit than some people growing with quality equipment because of my lack of spending. The way Concord Dawn and I are growing is definitely efficient. I now have options to choose plants and to plant anytime, I have 2 sets of seed strains, 1 is really good smoke but it's hermied and I don't know how much is going to pass into the seeds, but I got hundreds of seeds from that. and the other set of seeds I have set aside to the premium section. only about 8 seeds there and I've used 4 of those to germinate them. gotta kill the hermie fest if one occurs, I still don't know if it's purely genetics or just the grow. I shouldn't get any male plants either way. but this time around, no sex allowed

I don't think you have a clue how breeding works. Those hundreds of seeds you have still have many males to come from them. They tried to explain it, but you'll find out when you grow them.
Since you have all that profit from being so efficient you should buy a camera to show these 'sexy' plants.

my opinion (i can't know for sure) is that the hermie thing is probably genetic rather than the grow.
it sounds like you have things a bit more under control this time, no leaning tower of pot-sa.
you're making me prouder by the day. can't wait to see some sexy photos sometime down the road.

Tafbang. I'm not trying to be funny but I want to intervene a bit here, if you don't mind.
The one thing that sticks out the most in my mind, after following your threads is this: In the beginning, and even now, when people genuinely tried to help you, you seemed to take it as an insult or even treated it like they were challenging you.
You would mention something you were trying with your grow or mention something you were unsure about. Then people would try to give you advice and help you. You would right away try to dispute them, or argue about the advice that was given. It was as if you could never just say "hmm, maybe you're right, maybe what I'm attempting isn't the best idea". Or even, "I'll keep that in mind but I still want to try it my way first".
You acted like EVERYONE was trolling you from the get go. Yes, You did have alot of pricks who were talking shit just to try and be funny or be a smart ass, but you still had a good amount of people who were genuinely trying to help you. But you rejected those people who tried to help you and even talked shit to them.
Thats when things really went south, when the people who tried to help you, ended up fighting with you instead. And your threads just turned into trolling threads.
I understand that alot of what you were doing was experimentation on your part so you can learn, but you still fought with those who tried to help you or give advice. Thats when even the good guys got pissed off.
I think you should start a Tafbang Part 3 grow where you can implement everything you've learned and converse with those who are here to help you.

Respectable post is Respectable.
But we'll see about the hermie thing. I have about 9 plants going and I have a factory of seeds to work with. I still have my "Premium" seeds that were bred to a full female. my grow was pretty spazztic as it may seem but i slowly exercised them to where it wouldn't stress, but with my light leaks and random light timing it's hard to tell.
Just today I got rid of every bits of the harvest, this grow is going very well so far, right now I have 2 premium plants and about 7 that were from the self-hermied 7footer. and out of the 7 there are very different appearances and they've all been under the same routine. 2 of them have kind of a lettuce or soft vegetable look and fatter leaves, some have a very sativa and small/mean look. and the others look average but different from each other. I'm still going to be experimenting in this grow once things get jumping. Topping for 4 colas. wind variations and strengthening/stress routines to develop a really strong trunk for proper digestion and the thick plants are usually the ones going the hardest.
re-reading this I feel like I'm training them for Seal Team 6. Which is the idea. developing really strong plants is a proper strategy. If they aren't genetically hermified and stay solid plants then hopefully they pass on the slave genetics.
I am also starting a Vegetable and Flower garden this weekend, I don't think I have a spend limit for it, but I'm pretty much just going to pick out the most nutritious foods to grow.
I also seen some pretty cool things. A lady planted her "headband" strain towards the end of July in her back yard. and in September it was just a single cola beast with some nice trich output. It was about a little taller than 1ft and she got about 23grams dry. I thinking about maybe testing this strategy out. planting a few seeds in the middle of the vegetable garden and staying 1 cola/hidden.
That's the update on my current project. Why I'm informing everyone... no idea, nobody else to discuss this type of stuff with I suppose. Just think before you type in my thread please, I have a lot of people in here lost in the dust and fighting, do not want. just bring some science and bring some sense.
tl;dr version I'm growing a garden for vegetables and flowers and im going to beat up my marijuana plants into superathletes.
