this is my tent:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002TZTS8E
the measurements are 36' x 36' x 78''

my Light is a 31in 600w cooltube hps

my questions are:

- What CFM would i need to keep it cool enough?
- What size C02 tank would I need?
- How much c02 is needed daily?
- How long to run c02 tank on the daily basis?
- What all do I need for the C02 tank?

Search for Co2 Explained at Google or dig a little deeper in the forum you'll find all the info. If you're not sure about what you read you can ask and you'll find many people is willing to answer your questions.

You need to determine how many cubic feet your area is L x W x H equals Cubic feet. After you know this number you need to get a fan capable of exchanging this area in a reasonable time frame Example a 600 CFM fan will need 1 minute to exchange 600 cubic feet of air in a room.
BTW CO2 allows a grower to run a garden at elevated temperatures.
- What size C02 tank would I need?
This is based on how many trips you are willing to make to the welding supply store for refills totally based on your own discretion (20 - 50 lb.pretty typical).
- How much c02 is needed daily?
A common rate people like to run is around 1200 PPM (parts per million) Use the converter to figure this out
- How long to run c02 tank on the daily basis?
A lot of growers like to run CO2 in flowering only and not in veg, Plants benefit most from CO2 during daylight hours. If you mean what type of cycle should you run here is an example.Fill the room in a 15 minute period, let the room soak for a half hour with oscillating fans blowing on high. And last do a total air exchange for 15 minutes, this is a pretty good 1 hour cycle. Repeat for the duration of the total daily on light cycle
.
- What all do I need for the C02 tank?
A CO2 regulator with an electric solenoid shutoff valve and a 15 minute increment timer.

In the long run you'd be better off getting a Monitor/Controller. So instead of going on a cycle you'd maintaining co2 levels rather than wasting a load every hour.

Hey Masp,
I agree with you. I was just thinking about the cost of a descent controller, they can get pretty expensive for a good quality unit. Green Air Products start at $665.00 and Titans aren't much cheaper either.

I use a coco digi grow like 250 bucks on ebay
Wow that looks like a pretty good deal for what you get with that unit. Basic and to the point for CO2 delivery very nice considering a good basic Co2 meter will cost you $150.00 or more.

If you're venting the tent then you really don't need it. If you are not venting the tent and just the light then you will need a dehumidifier to keep the humidity in check which will add heat so you'll need an air conditioner. Keeping the humidity low during flowering is much more important than the extra co2 because any gain in size will easily be lost when mold sets in from high humidity and your buds start to rot. I run co2 in a sealed room only in the winter when I can't vent my room. I also run a dehumidifier, ac and vent the lights. If I could set up a tent in my house then I would just keep the humidity and temps in the room good and just vent the tent. A 4" can type fan at about 170 cfm's would be fine because your tent is only about 70 cubic feet so the air would be exchanged a little more than once every 30 seconds but 6" isn't that much more money and is 450 cfm. Get everything else tight before considering co2 because the extra expense may not be worth it for a 600w grow...

Good luck with your grow....
